Gail journey through life was defined by her unwavering strength, grace, and kindness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her impact on her family and community will be deeply cherished and greatly missed. As a devoted wife, Gail was married to the love of her life, Marvin Dale Johnston, on June 12, 1958. Together, they created a lifetime of cherished memories and shared countless joys. Gail commitment to her marriage and family was a shining example of the enduring power of love. Gail will be forever missed by her loving son, Alan, and cherished daughter in law, Carol, of Thornton, Colorado. Her granddaughters, Madison of Thornton, Colorado, and Caitlin of Lewisville, North Carolina, will forever treasure the wisdom, love, and guidance she bestowed upon them. Gail great-granddaughter, Aubrey, of Lewisville, North Carolina, will carry her memory in her heart always. In addition to her immediate family, Gail leaves behind a host of cherished relatives and friends who were touched by her kind spirit and warm heart. She was preceded in death by her dear brother, Arthur, as well as her beloved parents, Gray and Thelma. Her memory will also be forever honored by her maternal grandfather, Arthur Simmons, paternal grandmother, Claudia, and Sallie, her maternal grandmother. Gail's paternal grandfather, Richmond, will continue to hold her dear in his heart.
