She was a proud member of the Lewisville Baptist Church, where she found solace and community. On June 6, 1958, Gail married the love of her life, Marvin Dale Johnston. Their union was one of love and devotion that lasted for many treasured years. Gail was a loving daughter, sister, and mother figure to her family. She was predeceased by her brother, Arthur, her mother, Thelma, her father, Gray, her grandmother, Sallie, her grandfather, Richmond, her grandfather, Arthur Jr., her grandmother, Claudia, her brother-in-law, Willson, her brother-in-law, Turner, and her nephew, Richard. Gail is survived by her beloved husband, Marvin Johnston, her son, Alan, her daughter-in-law, Carol, and her granddaughter, Madison. They will forever cherish the memories they created together as a family. Gail led a remarkable life filled with love, compassion, and kindness. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the memories she shared with those close to her.
