AnnaKleda Mark 63 Cedar Rapids, IA - AnnaKleda Mark, 63, passed away on June 21, 2024, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was born on July 14, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. AnnaKleda was born in 1960 in Pohnpei, Micronesia and lived there until 2017. AnnaKleda was a beloved member of her community, known for her infectious laughter and caring nature. She touched the lives of many through her selfless acts of kindness and dedication to her family. After moving to America, she took her culture with her and worked hard to keep her identity alive by teaching her Pohnpeian to her grandchildren who were born and raised in the US. She would also reminded her family of Pohnpeian Heritage. Devoted to her loved ones, AnnaKleda spent many years taking care of her grandchildren, a role she cherished greatly. She found joy in providing a loving and nurturing environment for them. AnnaKleda was a “People-Person” always ready with a smile and a mwaramwar on her head. She was always forthright in her opinion and would make sure you know about it. In her leisure time, AnnaKleda was an active member of the Kaunopada church. She found solace and strength in her faith, and she lived her life guided by its teachings. AnnaKleda was preceded in death by her father, sister, and brother. She is survived by her mother, Florentina Mark, 1 daughter, 3 Sons, 2 adopted daughters, 1 son-in law, 3 daughter in-law , 3 children of one of her sister that she helped raised, 2 adopted son in-law, 15+ grandchildren, 4 promised children, 2 great grandsons along with seven sisters, four brothers, and one promise sister. The funeral service will take place at Kaunopada Church (address here). Family viewing will be from 9am- 11am, Community Viewing will start at 11am. The Church service will start at 1pm followed by burial service at Czech National Cemetery at 4pm. AnnaKleda's memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm smile and compassionate spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May her soul rest in peace.
