Larry was born on May 5, 1980, in Chicago Hts, Illinois, to proud parents Larry Boyd and Judy Boyd. Larry's vibrant spirit and kind heart touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Larry's journey began in the charming city of Chicago Hts, where he experienced the love of his devoted parents. He later attended South Hagerstown high school in Hagerstown, Maryland, where he excelled in his studies and made lifelong friendships. Always eager to expand his horizons, Larry graduated from South Hagerstown high school with a bright future ahead of him. A man of many talents, Larry had a passion for producing music and spent countless hours honing his craft. He had a natural gift for creating soulful melodies that resonated with all who heard them. Larry's music will forever serve as a testament to his creativity and artistic prowess. In addition to his musical pursuits, Larry cherished the company of his dear friends. They shared countless memorable moments together, creating an everlasting bond that will endure in the hearts of those left behind. Larry's kind and compassionate nature brought joy to every gathering, and his presence will be sorely missed. Larry is survived by his loving mother, Judy Boyd, and a host of cherished friends. Judy, a pillar of strength and the embodiment of grace, stood by Larry through every joy and challenge. Theirs was an unbreakable bond, and Judy's enduring love and support brought solace to Larry's life. The kindhearted Tiana Ward, Larry's dear friend and confidante, was a constant source of comfort during his days. Tiana's unwavering presence and companionship provided Larry with immeasurable joy and support. Jimmy Wilkerson

Former Chiefs defensive end turned assistant coach - Jimmy Wilkerson passed away at 43. He was a standout at Paul Pewitt High School in Omaha, Texas, which led to his college career at the University of Oklahoma. In 2003, Kansas City Chiefs chose him in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. In that year, Jimmy was one of the two players to receive the team’s Mack Hill Award for the rookie of the year. During his four seasons with the Chiefs, he served as a reserve defense lineman and gave his best to special teams. In 2008, Wilkerson signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he aced two seasons. Jimmy was in thier 2009 starting lineup, beginning with all of the year’s games. He shifted on to the New Orleans Saints in the next year and then again to the Seattle Seahawks in 2011 prior to getting retired as a player. Later in his life, he worked as a coach in both high school and college. In 2017, Jimmy started coaching the East Texas A&M Lions. He assisted the squad to thier NCAA Division II national championship victory in the same year. His most recent designation was of an assistant coach at Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, Oklahoma, which won the state title for its third consecutive year the day after his demise. Jimmy’s son Maddox is a player for that team. Apart from Maddox, his three children, Emilia, Jax, and Tyson, and his loving wife, Jamie, survive him.
