"Jackson Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, mourns the passing of William Stankewicz. He died at the State Correctional Institution at Dallas on November 27th, 2023. Stankewicz, 78, had been serving time for a mass machete attack at North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary School more than two decades ago.
