Alice star and Tony-winning Broadway actor Linda Lavin dies at 87. The reason for her demise is said to be complications from recently discovered lung cancer. She has had a prolific career, both in theaters and on television screens. As a former child actor, Lavin set her foot in her career in the 1960s musical "It’s a Bird…It’s a Plane…It’s Superman."
