Famous K-pop singer Choi Wheesung has tragically passed away at a young age. According to South Korean authorities, the singer was found unconscious in his Seoul apartment on Monday. The reason for his unexpected demise is said to be a cardiac arrest. The 43-year-old K-pop singer and R&B sensation began his career as a dancer in 1997. Two years later, in 1999, he debuted as a rapper and vocalist for A4. He left the group, and for a short period of time, he joined the rock band MAME. Wheesung, commonly known as Realslow, made his solo debut in 2002 with "Like A Movie" and gathered immense praise from senior musicians. Not only that, but he also won multiple Best New Artist awards. Wheesung enlisted on November 7, 2011, and was discharged on August 9, 2013. After his time in the military, there were several accusations against him, but he denied all of them. Later, the court cleared him of all charges. His musical career was characterized by its perfect amalgamation of hip-hop, pop, and R&B on issues including 'insomnia." He had served in K-pop seals at YG Entertainment. Wheesung's memorial service will be held on March 14 at Samsung Medical Center Funeral Hall in Gangnam, Seoul.
