Edward M. Silver City Isquez June 10, 1942 - July 6, 2024 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edward M. Silver City Isquez, aged 82, on July 6, 2024, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Edward was born on June 10, 1942, in Silver City, New Mexico, to the late Cornelio Trujillo Sr. and Helena Trujillo. Growing up in Silver City, he developed a strong sense of community and a deep appreciation for the values of hard work and integrity. Edward received his education at Western New Mexico School, where he cultivated a thirst for knowledge and a love for learning. He excelled academically and developed a strong foundation for his future endeavors. Edward had a distinguished career in the construction industry, serving as a Supervisor for many years. His commitment to excellence and his meticulous attention to detail earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. He took great pride in his work and approached every project with unwavering dedication. Outside of his career, Edward had a passion for trucks. He loved everything about them, from their powerful engines to their rugged exteriors. Whether he was tinkering under the hood or taking long drives on scenic routes, his love for trucks brought him great joy and relaxation. A man of faith, Edward was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus. He found solace and spiritual guidance within the embrace of his church community. His unwavering commitment to his faith served as a guiding light in his life. Edward's most cherished role, however, was that of a loving husband and father. On July 4, 1964, he married his beloved wife, Alyssa Torres, in a beautiful ceremony held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Their union was a testament to love, commitment, and unwavering support for one another. Together, they built a life centered around love, laughter, and deep-rooted family values. Edward's memory will forever be treasured by his loving family. He is survived by his adoring son, Cornelio the Third, his devoted daughter, Sara Baca, and his beloved grandchildren, Adam, Chris, Sophia, Gabriel, and Chelsea. Their lives have been immeasurably enriched by the love and guidance he bestowed upon them. The family invites friends, relatives, and all those whose lives Edward touched to join in a celebration of his life. A visitation will be held at Baca's Funeral Chapel. Edward M. Silver City Isquez will be remembered for his unwavering love, his unwavering faith, and his unwavering commitment to family. May he find eternal peace, and may his memory forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who were fortunate enough to know him.
