Layla's untimely demise took place in Corunna, Michigan, where she was embraced as a member of the community. She lived her life with an unmatched zest for knowledge, adventure, and compassion. Her enthusiasm radiated during her journey, leaving an indelible mark on every person she encountered. Layla continually excelled in her academic pursuits, a testament to her intelligence and dedication. As a student at Corunna High School, she showed immense promise and was actively engaged in the school's volleyball team. Her commitment to her studies and athletic endeavors was truly extraordinary. Layla's vibrant spirit soared through her involvement in various extracurricular activities, such as art, weightlifting, and a wide range of sports. Outside of the classroom and athletic arena, Layla found solace in the embrace of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Her faith provided her with strength and guidance, allowing her to approach life's challenges with unwavering determination. Layla's parents, Robert Grawey and the late Angel Hayward, played an instrumental role in shaping her into the remarkable young woman she became. Their love and unwavering support encouraged Layla to chase her dreams fearlessly and to embrace life's every moment. In honoring Layla's memory and celebrating her life, a funeral service will be held at Nelson-House Funeral Home, situated at 120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867, on a date to be announced.
