Education played a significant role in shaping Yelekal's life. He graduated from Overfelt High School in San Jose. His dedication to learning and his thirst for knowledge set him apart, making him a well-rounded individual. In addition to his accomplishments in academia, Yelekal was passionate about various hobbies. He found solace in music, immersed himself in martial arts, and found joy in playing basketball and football. These activities brought him fulfillment, helping him maintain a balanced and fulfilling life. Yelekal's positive impact on those he encountered will not be forgotten. He will be remembered as a compassionate individual, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Yelekal's memory will continue to inspire his family and friends to strive for greatness and to approach life with the same unwavering determination that he did. His influence extended beyond education, with roles in healthcare and various charitable endeavors. He served nearly 25 years as the East Side Union High School District superintendent. Where his main aim was to oversee substantial growth. He also contributed as the CEO of Alexian Brothers Hospital. He played key roles in civic projects, including the Children's Discovery Museum. And the transformation of St. Joseph Church into a cathedral. In his political career, Fiscalini served two terms as a city councilman during the 1990s. His dedication to San Jose's improvement was evident in both major initiatives. Such as moving City Hall downtown and smaller local efforts. As simple as addressing road repairs in his district. Despite facing some criticism, Fiscalini maintained that his popularity was a result of volunteerism and community service.
