Kayla M Vickery August 24, 2001 - August 7, 2024 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kayla M Vickery, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Kayla left this world too soon on August 7, 2024, at the age of 22. Her absence will be felt profoundly by all who had the honor of knowing her. Kayla was born on August 24, 2001, in Wilmington, Delaware, to her loving parents, Dennis J Vickery and Christina. She was raised in a warm and nurturing environment, surrounded by the love and care of her family. Kayla attended John Dickinson High School, where she developed her passion for learning and formed many cherished friendships. Kayla had a vibrant spirit and a love for life that was contagious. She possessed a natural talent for hairstyling and would often spend her time perfecting her craft. Her creativity and flair could be seen in the hairstyles of her friends and family who were lucky enough to be touched by her artistic hand. Nature was another profound source of joy for Kayla. She loved to go on long, peaceful walks, immersing herself in the beauty of the world around her. These solitary moments allowed her to find tranquility and solace, and served as a testament to her deep appreciation for the wonders of nature. Kayla will be dearly missed by all those who survive her, including her twin sister, Kaitlyn Vickery, her sister Jocelyn, and her friends who considered her to be a daughter. Her impact extended far beyond her immediate family, as she also leaves behind the loving memories of her aunt and uncle, Nogales, Dalton, and DJ. Family and friends are invited to pay their final respects at the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home located at 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE 19702, USA. The funeral home can be reached at (302) 731-5459. The funeral service will be held at this dignified venue, allowing all those who loved and admired Kayla to come together and find solace in each other's presence. As we say farewell to a beautiful soul and a life taken too soon, let us remember Kayla as she would want us to - full of joy, love, and appreciation for the world around us. May her spirit forever guide and inspire us, reminding us to live each day with purpose and gratitude. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to any charitable organization dedicated to mental health, as a testament to Kayla's compassionate spirit and the importance of supporting one another during times of struggle. We extend our deepest condolences to the Vickery family during this difficult time. May Kayla's memory be a blessing, and may she rest in eternal peace.
