Zelia (Pereira) Oliviera, 80, of Tiverton, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at home. She was the wife of the late Anibal T. Oliviera. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Conceicao (Linhares) Pereira, she moved to the United States in 1964. Zelia was a member of the Saint Theresa Parish Woman's Guild as well as being a housekeeper for the church. She treasured her family and was close to her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking and feeding her family. She leaves five children, Arthur Oliveira of Tiverton, Steven Oliveira (wife Cecile) of Westport, Robert Oliveira (fiancee Sheryl Gracia), Susan Oliveira, and Ann Marie Oliveira both of Tiverton;A grandson, Nicholas Oliveira; four siblings, Edward Pereira, Luis Pereira, Joseph Pereira and Fernanda Gouveia; many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ema P. Melo, Arthur Pereira and John A. Pereira. A visitation will be held Monday, June 27, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, with a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Church, Stafford Road, Tiverton, at 11:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Flowers welcome or donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, appreciated.
