Faith L. Shahan Faith L. (Smith) Shahan started her heavenly journey on Tues. , December 5, 2023, surrounded by her closest family and friends following a seven-month battle with cancer. Faith was born to Rick and Jennifer (Bungard) Smith on July 30, 1993. She started her life a fighter as she survived a stroke at birth that affected her physical abilities. Despite those challenges, Faith thrived. She received unwavering care from the Shriner's Hospital in Erie, PA, and went on to fulfill all her hopes and dreams during her 30 years of life. In 2018 Faith married the man of her dreams, Jacob Shahan, and in 2019 she became a mother to Asher Colt. Being a mother was her favorite thing in the world, and her family will keep her memory alive for him forever. She was a woman of faith with endless love to give, especially to her family. Faith was preceded in death by uncle, Brian Best, and maternal grandfather Rodney "Archie" Bungard. In addition to her parents, Faith is survived by her husband, Jacob, son Asher, brother Ricky, aunt Amy Bungard, cousins Zachary and Zyler Best, maternal grandparents Janice Bungard, and Dave Chociej, paternal grandparents Bob, Ruthie, and Nancy Smith, and her beloved fur baby, Nemo. Faith would have wanted the world to remember her as someone who laughed constantly, loved music, loved Jesus, and had limitless kindness and empathy in her heart. Even during her most challenging moments, she was constantly praying for others - including a small circle of other women battling cancer whom she received support from in her final days. There will be a Celebration of Life held at 6pm on Friday, Dec. 15th at the Mineral City Methodist Church, doors will be open at 5pm. Born on April 29, 1930, Jean's life was a testament to resilience, dedication, and compassion. Her remarkable career spanned an impressive 39 years, during which she served the community with unwavering commitment and expertise. Her role as a service manager at Aultman Hospital allowed her to impact countless lives, providing nourishment and care to those in need. Jean was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Edna Lee; husband Coleman Wilson; daughter Sylyvonna Jackson; brothers Donald Lee, Raymond Lee, and Jerrel Lee; sisters Sylvia Myricks, Bonnie Lee, and Gloria Brown. Edith Alltop Flodung Kinsley nee HaasEdith Kinsley, 87, of North Canton sadly passed away December 4, 2023 in the home of Larry and Kimberly where she raised her three children, we were all present with her, providing care, comfort, and much love during a brief health issue. She was born December 23, 1935 in North Canton, Ohio to the late Helen and Burnard Uhrich. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings Patrick, Anthony, Joseph, Edward, and Louise'. and brother-in-law John Cowgill. She departed this earthly life to be forevermore with her loving Savior Jesus Christ. She is rejoicing now without worry nor discomfort. This is our comfort during this huge loss from our lives knowing we will someday see her again. Edith was a devout follower of Jesus making faith and religion a cornerstone of her family's foundation. Edith enjoyed many years in the church choir and touching the live of many children through teaching Sunday school. She led many to the Lord. She was a devoted mother with the most sweet and loving heart and the best prayer warrior for her family who survive her. She is survived by children Tammie Warrington, Theresa Kovach, and Larry Alltop (Kim); grandchildren Lindsay Reese (Dwayne), Joe Sleighter (Angela), Franklin Alltop (Brittany), Sarah Boyle (Cory), Jered Alltop (Jasmine), and Miranda Perry (Kaleb); and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Frances Cowgill who blessed her nearly everyday with visits, calls, and prayers, and many nieces and nephews. A warm and caring woman, Margaret dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse's aide in the healthcare industry. Her compassionate nature and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many patients and their families. She took great pride in her work, always going above and beyond to ensure the comfort and well-being of those under her care. Margaret found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved shopping and dining out, treating herself to delicious meals filled with laughter and good company. Her vibrant personality and hearty laughter would brighten any room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Miller. She is survived by her loving sons Arthur Miller (Debbie), David Miller (Barb Long), and Charles Miller; grandchildren Christopher Miller (Liz), and Tiffany Riley (Miles); and great-grandchildren Aubrey and Morgan Miller. He was born December 15, 1936 and was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth (Williams) Rhodes; his son, Daniel James Rhodes; and brother, James Rhodes. Wilbur is survived by his beloved wife, Lois (Boettler) Rhodes; daughter, Barbara (David) Johnson; son, Richard (Stacie) Rhodes; daughter-in-law, Michele Rhodes; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Rachel), Gregory, David (Alexandra), and Melissa; great-grandchildren, Emilia and Elle; siblings, Zelda, Eileen, Betty, Grant, Pete; and numerous nieces and nephews. Wilbur was a man of many passions. He was passionate about his faith, family, career, and working outdoors. Along with being an avid outdoorsman, he was a fan of all sports. Wilbur enjoyed a career as a plumber and was a proud member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 94 for 67 years. In addition, he nurtured his faith at the Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren and was a lifetime member. He was known for his reliability and never said no to anything that was asked of him. His work ethic is unmatched and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Family meant the world to Wilbur and he cherished the many times spent together. "TOGETHER AGAIN"Tim L. Russ, 81, of Perry Township, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in Canton, Ohio following a brief illness. Tim was born on March 7, 1942 in Massillon, Ohio the son of the late George Russ and Mary Russ. Tim was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1959 graduate of Perry High School. He was a United States Air Force veteran and served our country during Vietnam. He retired from Union Drawn after more than 30 years of service. Tim was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed playing poker. He and his late wife, Letha loved traveling as well. He was a Washington Red Skins fan as well. Tim loved making airplane models and he enjoyed working on his truck. Along with his parents, was preceded in death by his wife, Letha; brothers and sisters ,Tad Gardner,Carol Gardner, Ron Russ, Sharon Mize, and Terry Russ. He is survived by his children, Marsha (Fred) Steiner, Teresa (Larry) Wasmire, Jeff (Aura) Oxendine, Kelly (Scott) Dukich, and Carol (Chuck) Jenkins; grandchildren, Scott (Nicole) Steiner, Jennifer (Dan) Steiner, Brian (Melissa) Steiner, Savanna (Tyler) Dukich, Davie Dukich, and Joslyn Dukich; 14 great-grandchildren; special friends, Jack and Jane Shanklin.
