Yong Nelson Obituary

Yong Cha Nelson, age 75, of Harvest, Alabama passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. She loved to go fishing on the beach and cooking for family and friends. Yong is survived by her husband of 48 years, Anthony D Nelson; daughter Melinda Brewer (Zackary); brothers Woon Song and Kee Song; granddaughter Alyvia Cornelison and grandson Jokob Brewer,; and a host of extended family. Yong was preceded in death by her father Sa Song and mother Son Song. A visitation for Yong will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM.
