Yolanda Castillo Obituary

Yolanda DeLaRosa Castillo, 81, of Beaumont, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, Monday, May 8, 2023. She was born on April 20, 1942, in Monterrey, Mexico, to Benigna Silva and Elias DeLaRosa. Survivors include her husband, Antelmo Castillo; children, Rachel DeLaRosa; Alice Castillo; Connie Martinez; Joe Castillo and his wife, Alyssa; Catalina Cervantes and her husband, Angel; and Carmen Castillo; grandchildren, Erika; Krystal; Ricky; Guillermo; Breana; Javier; Paloma; Sydney; Sophia; Gracelyn; Joshua; Karina and her husband, David; Alex, and Christian; great-grandchildren, Julissa; Marissa, Adrian, Julian, and Elias; siblings, Alice Gonzales and her husband, Donnie; Eva Byrn and her husband, John; Irma Harwell and her husband, Jimmy; Becky Holland; and Juanita Steffey and her husband, Marty; and a host of other relatives and friends. Yolanda is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Hector DeLaRosa. Mrs. Castillo's family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers and friends, Hermina Galaviz, Barbara Zamora, Xochitial Pedraza, and Claudia Guzman. A gathering of Mrs. Castillo's family and friends will be from 5:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p. m. , Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a. m. , Friday, May 12, 2023, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 767 Avenue A, Beaumont, with her entombment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
