A. D. Wooldridge, Jr. , 89, affectionately known as "Poppie", passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. He was born November 24, 1933, in Tupelo, to Audie Dink "Buck" and Maddie Miller Wooldridge, Sr. He was a Veteran, serving in the United States Army. He retired as a tool and die maker after working at Super Sagless for 41 years. He enjoyed camping, boating, and water skiing. He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and Ole Miss Rebels, and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren playing sports, Class of 2014 SHS. Services will be at 1:00 p. m. Monday, October 09, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Tim Green and Bro. Bobby Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Kenny Wooldridge (Lynn) of Tupelo, and Donnie Joe Wooldridge (Barbra) of Saltillo; one daughter, Sharon Rye (Ronnie) of Saltillo; one brother, Bobby Joe Wooldridge of Mantachie; one sister, Geneva Barnes of Mantachie; four grandchildren, Carley Elizabeth Wooldridge, Anna Claire Wooldridge, Christy Spencer, and A. J. Rye; three great grandchildren, K. J. Hollingsworth, Kenzie Bailey and Josh Bailey; several nieces and nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his wife, whom he married in 1956, Elizabeth Ann Waddle Wooldridge; one brother, Robert Wooldridge; two half -brothers, Kenneth Wooldridge and Ed Rogers; three half -sisters, Hazel Byars, Gladys Rogers, and Minnie Thompson; two nephews, Mitch Barnes and Michael Waddle; and his parents. Pallbearers will be Brandon Bradberry, Mark Mallette, Mark Cooper, Craig Waddle, Tommy Byars, and William Byars. Honorary pallbearers will be Super Sagless Tool and Die employees. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00-7:00 p. m. and on Monday from 11:00 a. m. until service time at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton. Marilyn Joyce Moore Christian, 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at her home in Dorsey. She was born January 28, 1937, in Itawamba County, to Edgar and Ethel Wood Moore. She worked at Genesco and Reeds Manufacturing for several years. She was a long-time member of Hopewell Baptist Church and currently a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. She was a bird lover, collecting bird figurines, bird feeders, and she enjoyed feeding the birds. Services will be at 6:00 p. m. Friday, November 17, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Joseph Bain and Rich Rodgers officiating. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery. Survivors include one son, Greg Christian (Brenda) of Douglasville, GA; two daughters, Sherry Hill (Steve) of the Carolina community, and Angie Bunch (Mike) of Aberdeen; seven grandchildren, Daniel Bunch (Victoria), Lee Bunch (Megan), Ben Hill (Sierra), Zach Christian, Ethan Christian, Jeremy Christina, and Adam Christian; two great granddaughters, Rae Ann Bunch and Maddie Jean Bunch; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Thomas W. Christian, Jr; three brothers, Holland Moore, Wood Moore, and Nolan Moore; three sisters, Rae Hayes, Beulah Sheffield, Olene Moore; and her parents. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Shirley Joyce Nabors, 77, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at her home. She was born October 22, 1946, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, to John Chester and Ruby Emmons Moore. She graduated from Itawamba Agricultural High School. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She retired from Lane Furniture after 21 years. She enjoyed cooking, going to good yard sales, and she especially enjoyed being around her family. Services will be at 2:00 p. m. Monday, November 6, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Rickey Bowen and Bro. Allen Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Walton Cemetery. Sarah Jacqueline Wilson Lucas, 75, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born October 7, 1948 to the late James Gordy Wilson and the late Eva Dell Ledbetter Wilson. She loved her precious daughter, Susan Denise. She loved to read her Bible, work for the unborn, and work at True Life Church standing for her Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed her flower garden, working variety puzzles, watching squirrels, and sunsets with Jimmie.
