PORTSMOUTH - Woodrow William "Woody" Stokley, 83, of Elliott Ave. passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. He was born on November 15, 1938 in Wilmington, NC to the late John and Lessie Stokley; and was an engineer on a tugboat for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Agnes Stokley; a daughter, Linda M. Stokley; a son, Michael Stokley; a brother, Earl Stokley and his wife Nancy; a grandson, Nathan Anderson; and a nephew, Aaron Larkins. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Olive Branch Cemetery by Rev. Lee Brown.
