Kermit Richard "Dick" Camphouse, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 24, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was under the care of Enhabit Home Health and Hospice. Dick was born October 1, 1947, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Kermit Richard Camphouse and Donna Dee Fritch Camphouse. He grew up and attended schools in Rexburg, and graduated from Madison High School. After high school, he joined the Navy and served in the Vietnam War. On September 28, 1978, he married Sherry Ann Boettcher. Kermit and Sherry made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Kermit worked as a laborer for Mt. West Bark. Dick was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a true outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed doing latch hook rugs, as well as playing cards and Sudoku. He was an avid reader, reading mostly Western books. He also loved to travel. Kermit is survived by his wife, Sherry Ann Boettcher of Idaho Falls, ID; children Angel Adams of McCammon, ID, Patricia (Gene) Camphouse of Idaho Falls, ID, Adam Camphouse of Idaho Falls, ID, and Phoenix Camphouse of Idaho Falls, ID; siblings, Linda (Jay) Fuhriman of Idaho Falls, ID, Brenda Ward of Mt. Home, Idaho, Thomas Brent (Pamela) Camphouse of Menan, ID, Darlene (Darwin) Goodwin of Idaho Falls, ID, and Deann (Rick) Bell of Mountain Home, ID; 5 grandchildren and 1great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lorna Callas, and son-in-law, Van Adams. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave, with Bishop Christopherson officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, and from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior. Both visitations at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. Military Honors will be performed by Rexburg VFW Post #3012 and the United States Navy. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.

Reuel Hugh Wilkins, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 23, 2024, at home. He was under the care of Brio Home Health and Hospice. Reuel was born June 27, 1947, in Idaho Falls, ID, to James Ralph Wilkins and Eva Judd Wilkins. He grew up in Coltman, Idaho, and graduated from Bonneville High School. He also attended Stevens Henager and EITC. In March of 1968, he married Lori Christensen. They had 3 children together, Bill, Lisa, and Jacki. Later, they divorced. Reuel made his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Reuel worked in the Idaho National Guard. He had a long military career, often being the top recruiter in Idaho. He enjoyed reading, playing "Free Cell" on his phone, watching "NCIS", cracking silly "Grandpa" jokes, and he helped raise his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Reuel is survived by his daughter, Lisa Wilkins of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Jacki Wilkins of Shelley, ID; sister, Gail Trowbridge of Providence, UT; brother, Lee (Cinda) Wilkins of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Rae Carr of Idaho Falls, ID; grandchildren, Ricky (Becca Cuppy) Wilkins, Freyja Wilkins, Sasha Wilkins, Emmi Wilkins; great-grandchildren, Tenley Stewart, Talon Stewart, Paxton Wilkins, Davin Wilkins, and Remini Wilkins. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ralph Wilkins; mother, Eva Judd Wilkins; son, Bill Wilkins; brother, James Ralph Wilkins, Jr.; and sister, Alita Romney.

Douglas Kem Palmer, 67 Douglas Kem Palmer, 67, of Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away February 21, 2024 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Douglas was born April 3, 1956 in Burley, Idaho to Jim and Larraine Palmer. Kem started in American Falls and at age 5 moved to Eugene Oregon. He attended school in Salem, Oregon, where he graduated from school. After graduating he moved to Stockton, California until moving to Idaho in 1997 to be closer to family. He lived with his foster parents in Idaho Falls, Karl and Connie Shirley. Kem was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had various jobs including Subway Sandwiches, The Pita Pit, and Idaho Falls Livestock. Kem went on many camping and fishing trips with family. He also spent many Thanksgivings and Christmases with them. He loved cats and dogs and loved performing karaoke. Kem is survived by his family, Christine (John) Grimmett, of Moreland; Linda (Gary) Johnson, Idaho Falls; Douglas Miller, of Pocatello; Lori (Mike) Wilson, of Challis; Korey (Shawna) Miller, of Pocatello; foster brother Larry Besch, of Idaho Falls; foster parents, Karl and Connie Shirley, of Idaho Falls; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Blackfoot Northwest Stake Center with Bishop Kent Hansen conducting. A viewing will be held an hour prior to the services starting at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the Joshua Smith Foundation and the Developmental Workshop of Idaho Falls where he was currently affiliated and the staff who helped him there including Jamie Cota and Kristy Clute.
