Wilma Jean Vermillion, age 94, passed away February 11, 2019 at Midlands Living Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Wilma was born in West Virginia and raised in Ohio. She was united in marriage to Charles Vermillion on April 26, 1946. She worked in the production area at Frito Lay and was a member of the Baptist Faith. Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Effie (Simpson) Gossett; 12 siblings; husband, Charles in 1992; daughter, Lou Ann Hourigan Osmers; son, Charles Lanny Vermillion. Survivors include daughter, Jane Sorensen of Oakland, Iowa; son, Keith Vermillion and wife, Ann of Council Bluffs; 6 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 7 step great-grandchildren.
