Willow Anne Grant, 56, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on September 29th, 2023, after a long illness. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1966. Due to the untimely death of her mother, she was raised by her loving grandparents in Little Rock, Arkansas. After graduating from Hall High School, she achieved her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. In 1994, Willow married Cory Brown, and though this relationship wasn't permenant, they did have two sons and remained friends afterwards. Willow pursued a career in IT and found her calling as a computer programmer. She worked for multiple companies, but was most proud of her time at St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Willow's hobbies included spinning dance tracks at Murphy's Irish Pub on Madison Ave. in Memphis, riding her Harley and BMW motorcycles, reading science fiction, cheering on her favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys, playing video games with her sons and introducing them to her favorite films. She also enjoyed driving her Mazda Miata with the top down. Willow had an infectious smile that had a way of easing your worries, and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her two sons, Liam Grant and Fergus Grant, ex-wife, Cory Brown Holloway, sister and brother-in-law, Deborah Papaeconomou (Lambros), niece, Olga Papaeconomou, and nephew, Dimitris Papaeconomou. She was predeceased by her parents, Joy Ann Tisdale and Bill Grant, and her grandparents, Henry and Lou Ann Tisdale. Private memorial will be held at a later date. Willow's family would like to give special thanks to the ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital ICU nursing staff, especially Jenn, for their excellent care and compassion.

James "Jamie" Jamison passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family, his devoted companion Cathy Ford, and his close friend George Brocklesby. He was 69 years old. Jamie was predeceased by his father James Charles Jamison and his mother Helen Jean (Brittingham) Jamison. Jamie is survived by his sons James "Jay" Jamison Jr. (Kerry) and Joe Jamison (Laura). He also leaves his grandchildren Kaylie, Bailey, Joey, Kai, Danni, Billy, & Charlie to cherish his memory. Jamie was interested early-on about the Fire Service and Fire Safety. In his teen years, Jamie became a member of Claymont Fire Company where many lifelong friendships were formed and a deeper understanding of what fire does was gained. All of this resulted in Jamie becoming a Loss Control and Safety Engineer where his knowledge was plied in the field correcting catastrophic problems in mercantile, office, and apartment buildings. Jamie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren, whom he deeply loved. He made sure he was at every special event and holiday to celebrate and share their joy with them. Jamie also loved spending time outdoors. His backyard was his happy place and he made it a haven for many foxes, deer, rabbits, birds, and even honeybees to seek food, water, and companionship. His bond with animals of nature was like no other. In his community, Jamie was a unique character, giving people a smile on their face and a helping hand when needed. In the Town of Arden, Jamie was an almost daily fixture, especially at the Gild Hall, where he helped with maintenance and Hall events. Many of the town's residents will dearly miss him. A visitation will be held at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803 on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park, Wilmington. A Celebration of Jamie's Life will be held at the Arden Gild Hall, 2126 The Highway, Arden following the cemetery. If you plan to attend, please feel free to rock a tie-dye t-shirt and a pair of Converse All-Stars (Chuck Taylors) if you have them. Mr. Shelton Alexander Harding, born August 9th,1951, in Chester, PA, transitioned into EternalRest on November 22, 2023. A kind, considerate, compassionate man, he was a music buff who enjoyeda substantial restored record collection. He was also a sports fan who was especially devoted to hisbeloved Philadelphia Eagles football team. He attended schools for the disabled in Johnstown and OldForge, Pa. Although he was a man who was physically challenged due to a childhood accident, hecompeted in wheelchair basketball, loved playing pool, and was active both within the abled and disabledcommunities. He remained a productive member of society and worked various jobs throughout his life. Mr. Harding was predeceased by his parents, Delores Harding and Melvin Harding of Chester, Pa,and siblings Kimberly Chase, Regina Johnson, Donald Harding, and Thomas Harding. Shelton alsoleaves behind to cherish his memory his three brothers: Melvin Harding, Rahn Harding, and JamesHarding; Four sisters: Denise Brown, Sherrie Harding, Joyce Harding, and Jacqueline Mohamed, as wellas his sisters-in-law; Irene Tsilimidis-Harding and Anna Harding, plus numerous cousins, nieces, andnephews. Antonio C. Narvaez, MD passed away at age 83 on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Born in Imus, Cavite, Philippines on November 25, 1940, he was the son of the late Feliciano and Elisa (DeCastro) Narvaez. Upon graduating from The University of the East in the Philippines, Dr. Narvaez came to the United States in 1964 and completed his residency at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. In 1968, he moved to Delaware and was mentored by Herman Rosenblum, MD who influenced and encouraged him to also become a geneticist. Dr. Narvaez was a pediatrician in Wilmington for many years and had his own private practice. He retired in 2007 and spent time pursuing his passion of sketching and drawing portraits, reconnecting with old friends, and spending time with his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He was a member of St. John the Beloved Parish. Dr. Narvaez is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dr. Mercedes (Jacinto) Narvaez; his children, Maria Iversen, Antonio J. Narvaez and wife, Deborah, Albert J. Narvaez and wife, Andrea; his grandchildren, Delani Narvaez, Cecilia and Erik Iversen, Alexandra, Ashley, Andrew and Adam Narvaez. In addition, he is survived by his brother, Roger Narvaez; his sisters, Emma Aquino and husband, Robert, Ellen Febre and husband, Prudencio, and Pilar Cifra; as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to the visitation at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington on Tuesday, December 5 from 10:00 - 11:15AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30AM, immediately followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery. It is with the heaviest of hearts we share that our beloved David passed away peacefully early Tuesday, November 28, 2023. He was the most wonderful son who was loved by everyone lucky enough to know him. David loved his brother and sister beyond, and he adored his nephew like no other. David struggled with addiction over the past few years, and he will be missed every minute of every day. For those of you closest to our family, you know that David tried so many times to beat this disease, but someone somewhere had bigger plans for him. We are grateful for the time we were lucky enough to have him, and will forever remember him as the best son, younger brother and uncle that we could have asked for. We love him and will continue to love him until the end of time. Carol Moody (nee Frohreich), age 91, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away at her home on November 27, 2023. Carol was born in Jackson Heights, NY to Frank Frohreich and Evelyn Hauber. Carol met her husband Bill at a USO bar in New York and they were married that same year. She worked as a stenographer for DuPont at the Savannah River Plant before retiring to devote her life to supporting her family. Carol and Bill moved many times over the years with Bill's job for DuPont, but ultimately settled in Wilmington. Carol was a devoted mother and Mom-Mom and was always visible at horseshows, school performances, ballet and any activity where she could cheer on and support her daughter and granddaughters. Carol was a lifetime member of Delaware African Violet Society and had a passion for growing violets. Carol had a collection of hundreds of cookbooks and enjoyed spending hours reading through them. Carol loved raising dogs with her husband Bill, who were members of the Greater Valley Forge Rhodesian Ridgeback Club and was active in Ridgeback rescue. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Billy O. Moody. Carol is survived by her daughter Kimberly Horgan (Patrick), her granddaughters; Lindsay Horgan Keene (Adam) and Bethany Horgan Miller (Matthew), her brother Frank Frohreich (Elisa) and her sister Madeline Cevasco. Maria Kramedas, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25th, 2023, one day before her 85th birthday. Maria was born in Chania on the Greek Island of Crete to the late Menelous and Kyriaki Malaxianaki. The family later moved to Athens, Greece, where she worked as a beautician. In 1965, she married the late Theodore "Ted" Kramedas and moved to the United States, settling in Dover, DE. In Dover, she took care of her family and supported her husband who was a co-owner in the Kramedas family business, the Hub Restaurant, until his passing in 1981. Maria moved to the Hockessin/Pike Creek area in 1995 to be closer to her children, grandchildren, extended family and to her church. She loved to cook Greek dishes and bake her famous desserts for family and friends; enjoyed spending time in her "happy place" Rehoboth Beach; and was very involved with Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, including the Ladies Philoptochos Society and the annual Greek Festival. Maria loved nothing more than spending time with her family; cherishing being Yiayia to her grandchildren, never missing a school event, sporting activity or performance; and traveling with her family to fun places like Greece, Sanibel Island and Disney World. Maria is survived by her children, Spero Kramedas (Julie), and Cindy Spence (Jason); her grandchildren, Katie Swenson (Garrett), Christopher Kramedas, Jake Spence and Justin Spence; her step-daughter, Diane Pusey; her sisters-in-law, Genie Kramedas, Tina Kramedas, Angie Watkins and Dina Malaxianaki; the Brockington family and the Hudson family; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Maria was preceded in death by her siblings, Speros Malaxianaki (Mary) and Yannis Malaxianaki; and Jack & Kay Spence. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 808 N. John Ray Bowman, age 85, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday November 22, 2023. Born in York, PA, he was the son of the late John K. and Beatrice (Shunk) Bowman. After graduating from West York High School, John went on to attend the University of DE. There he excelled not only in the classroom, but also on the football field as a standout halfback. Along with his academics and athletics at the University of Delaware, John also had time to meet his wife of 61 years, Nancy. Upon earning his undergraduate degree in History, he went on to attend Dickinson Law School, and then fulfilled his Army ROTC commitment serving in the JAG Corp. He then settled in Wilmington with Nancy where he spent most of his legal career at the DuPont Company in the Special Litigation Division. Athletics, running, biking and working out daily were part of John's everyday life and discipline. He completed three full marathons and countless half marathons and many other road races. Biking then took the place of running and he logged many miles throughout DE, PA, and MD. Along with his physical endeavors, John was a very thoughtful and inquisitive person, an avid reader and a lifelong learner. He had a thirst for knowledge and a memory that was unparallelled. John was selfless, gracious and kind, and a man of great integrity. Always humble, John never mentioned his many achievements and accomplishments, but would applaud others. John was truly content with his life which was evident in his positive and happy demeanor; he enjoyed a life well-lived. He loved spending time with his family and many friends and enjoyed listening, reminiscing and laughing with them all. After retiring John spent much of his time traveling with Nancy and attending his grandchildren's activities, two things that brought him great joy. Along with the time he spent with his family, John was very involved with his church, and participated in many volunteer opportunities. This included serving breakfast to the homeless, delivering meals, driving individuals to doctors appointments, and mentoring elementary school students. John could also be found most mornings with his crew at Brew HaHa or Janssens telling stories of the glory days, talking sports, or reviewing the daily Wordle. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Robertson) Bowman; children, Rob Bowman and Beth Anderson (Todd); brother, Glenn Bowman (Carol); grandchildren, John, Alex and Kate Bowman and Ellie, Brett, and Bo Anderson.
