William Gray "Tato Bug" Williams, Jr. , 61, passed away on Thursday, October 5. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 9 at 2:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Interment will be held immediately following at Thompson Chapel Church Cemetery, 5620 Thompson Chapel Church Road, Wilson. Reverend Bill Pike and Reverend Matt Roman will officiate. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 8 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Tato Bug is survived by his mother, Betty Smith Williams of Wilson; sisters, Lisa W. Matthews and husband, Butch of Bailey and Penny W. Carroll of Wilson; niece, Megan Carroll of Bailey; brother-in-law, Randy Carroll of Bailey; and wife, Rhonda W. Williams. John Joseph Walker, 60, passed away on Tuesday, November 28. John served his country faithfully and honorably with the United States Marine Corps, including Desert Storm. He loved grilling and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. John also loved splitting wood. John is survived by his loving wife of thirty-three years, Sallie Wells Walker; sons, John J. Walker, Jr. , Patrick M. Walker, and George S. Walker; sister, Margaret Neddo and husband, Art; brother, George Walker, Jr. ; sisters, Maureen Maynor Demott and husband, Bill, Patricia Walker; his in-laws, Graham and Becky Wells; brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews, and multiple loving best friends.
