Jimmy was employed at Commonwealth Aluminum in the maintenance department and was a member of United Steelworkers Local #9443. He loved spending time with family and enjoyed anything outdoors. He was born in Tell City, IN on September 9, 1963 to the late William "Dub" Meserve and Bonnie White Meserve. Tommy was a construction laborer and enjoyed woodworking, cooking and BBQ. Dateline Hawesville, Russell David Rearden, 95, of Hawesville passed away peacefully on his birthday, October 24, 2023, at Wellington Parc, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Russell was born in Hawesville, KY on October 24, 1928, the son of the late Hubert and Floella Voyles Rearden. Russell retired from Tell City Chair Company and was a member and former deacon of Mt Eden Baptist Church. Russell was a veteran of the U S Army, serving his country during the Korean War. Along with his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his wife Bonita Rearden; siblings Audrey Swihart, Elizabeth Stephens, H. C. Rearden and Carl Rearden. Suvivors include three daughters Darla (Alton) Logsdon, Rhonda (Don) Adkins and Tammy (Michael) Sturgeon; a grandson Kyle (Shelly) Daugherty; two great grandchildren Declan and Scarlett Daugherty; a sister Nina Wettstain and several nieces and nephews. Karl was born on September 11, 1948 in Hawesville, KY to the late Austin and Beulah Mae Nugent Beaver. Karl was a US Army Veteran who served in Vietnam, retired from NSA where he worked in the carpenter shop and a boat pilot, member of Steelworkers Union 9423 and liked to hunt. Ladonna Powers, 64, of Hawesville, passed away peacefully in her home on October 15th. Donna was born on January 7th, 1959, to Eugene and Shannon Lamar Powers. She worked several years at Tell City Chair Factory and was a member of Blackford Baptist Church. Though many obstacles and illnesses tried to keep her down, she never gave up. She was always fighting a battle, but her smile would never tell you so. It lit up the room. Donna held many titles - Mom, Nini, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She was everyone's biggest cheerleader and to know her was to love her. Her greatest titles were Mom and Nini. She lived every day for her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, hosting her family, drinking her diet cokes and shopping. Always shopping, many have probably ran into her at Wal Mart a time or two. Donna had a heart of gold and never failed to make you feel loved. She never met a stranger and touched so many hearts. Donna leaves behind a multitude of friends and family that will forever cherish their memories together. Along with her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Carrie White Lamar, James (J. C. ) and Ada Powers, and a niece Stefanie Kirk. Those left to carry on memories include her husband, Ronnie Edge, daughter, Karrie (Adam) Smith, stepsons Derek Edge and Justin Edge, her grandchildren, and light of her life, Peyton and Braylon Smith, sisters Marla (Steve) Brown and Tina Kirk, brothers Jeff (Cindy) Powers and Scott Powers, and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Blackford Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Betty Joe Teasley, 84, of Hawesville, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023. She was born May 14, 1939 in Daviess County the daughter of the late Marion Otto Teasley Sr. and Gladys Atkinson Teasley. Betty was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the National Rifleman Association. She enjoyed her pets, shopping, eating, traveling, outdoor activities, and shooting guns. Betty loved her family and adored her great-grandson, he was her world. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, William Sims Sr. ; her angel baby in 1963; and biological father, Joe Goff. Survivors include a daughter, Lana Church (Brian); son, William "Billy" Earl Sims, Jr. ; two grandchildren, Krystyn Hagan (Taylor) and Kiefer Church (Hannah); one great-grandson, Beau Hagan; two brothers, Marion "Corky" Teasley, Jr. (Becky) and Rev. Jimmie Teasley (Shannon); aunts, Mavis Blandford (Terry) and Janet Goff; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2 p. m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at James H.
