William Stowe Obituary

William Stowe, age 72, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 4:11am at the Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky. Bill was born on August 9, 1950, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Everett Sr. and Thelma Jean (Dunham) Stowe, both of whom are deceased. He is survived by his sister, Opal (Richard) Vehrs, of Glenmont, Ohio, Frank Stowe of Lykens, Ohio, Verne Stowe of Upper Sandusky, and Donald Stowe of Oregon, and a friend, Jeff Witten of Upper Sandusky. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Robert, Everett Jr. , and Joseph Stowe. Bill worked for the City of Upper Sandusky Parks Department for 42 years. He also did lawn mower repairs and also enjoyed scrapping in his spare time. For hobbies, he enjoyed collecting tools and remote control cars. Visitations for William Stowe will be held on Saturday, April 29, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Followed by a 12:30pm graveside service at Chandler Cemetery, Marseilles, with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating.
