William Parsons Sr Obituary

William J. Parsons Sr. , age 74, passed away April 20, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. After a long battle with cancer, he is now reunited with the love of his life his beloved wife, the late Paula B. (Barbato) Parsons and survived by their only child, William J. Parsons Jr. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William F. and Thelma M. (Bishop) Parsons. William worked as Director of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation for over 35 years. A loving father and friend to many. William had a kind heart and was always the life of the party. His funny stories, jokes, pranks and good times will be missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday April 26th at 11:00 a. m. in the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Military Honors will be held at the church immediately following the Mass. Burial will be private.
