William Franklin Peter "Bill" Newlin III, 50 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 5:51 p. m. Monday, June 20, 2022 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born January 26, 1972 in Morgantown, West Virginia, the son of William Franklin Peter Newlin, Jr. and Leona Freda (Cottrell) Newlin. He married Amy Littlejohn April 22, 2014 in Paris and she survives. Other survivors include his parents of Paris; children, Marissa Newlin of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Amber (Shanea) Newlin of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Teri-Rae (Austin) Long of Paris, and William Franklin Peter "Billy" Newlin IV of Surprise, Arizona; step children, Rebecca Lea (Jesse) McManus of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kolten Wesley Sexton of Paris; brother Randolph James "RJ" Newlin of Paris; four grandchildren, Alyson McManus, Leah McManus, Dominic McManus, and Jaxson Newlin; and several nieces and nephews. Bill was a truck driver for Veriha Trucking, based out of Wisconsin. His family moved from West Virginia to Paris in 1995 with Simonton Windows. He was outgoing and always very spontaneous. Bill was known for his sense of humor. He was incredibly funny and never serious. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid donkey collector. SERVICE INFORMATIONServices celebrating Bill's life will be conducted at 4:00 p. m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris. Military Honors will follow at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 2:00 p. m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
