MICALLEF, Tarcisio "Cisio" (1941-2023) With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Tarcisio, on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the age of 82. Loving husband of the late Mary (2004). Dear father of Carmen (Mike), Lorraine and Thomas (Ksenia) and cherished Nannu of Nicholas, Alyssa, Serena and Harrison. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and relatives in Canada, Malta and Australia. Cisio and Mary immigrated to Canada on July 1, 1967 and started their journey building their new life together. He worked hard as a labourer in construction and was a long time member of Hamilton Liuna Local 837. He was a wonderful, strong, loving father and grandfather. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and is now reunited with the love of his life, Mary. Friends and family will be received at Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, 905-387-2111) on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 5:00-9:00 p. m. Funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:00 a. m. with burial to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery (260 Rymal Road East, Hamilton). December 30, 1972 - December 2, 2023 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of WO Andrew Giles Irving on December 2, 2023 at the age of 50. Predeceased by his loving parents Rupert and Enid Irving (McLeod), and his cherished brother Richard. Survived by his twin brother Dwight (Rowena). Loving partner to Bonnie. Andrew was a kind and doting uncle to his 3 nieces (Noelle, Suriya & Corinne) and his 2 nephews (Sheldon & Dexter) and his great-nephew, Amarii. He will be greatly missed by many extended family and friends. He was an enthusiastic reservist, having first joined the 31 Signal Regiment when he was a teenager, eager to have new experiences and learn new things, but also making and treasuring many friendships along the way. Peacefully passed away at home on December 7, 2023 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Peggy for 60 years. Cherished father of Angela (Pasquale), Dina (predeceased) and Dominic (Marilyn). Loving Nonno of Dina (Brian), Nichole (Djordje), Victoria and Rudy and Bisnonno of Eva and Elisa. He is predeceased by his parents Francesco and Domenica, siblings Sante (Louise), Ilario (Guiliana) and Filomena (Guy) and is survived by Vincenza (George) and Pasquale. He will be missed by his extended family. Special thank you to the many PSWs and nurses who provided compassionate care and support. Rudy was an avid gardener and enjoyed hunting, bowling, golfing and making wine, sausages, prosciutto and capicollo. A kind and gentle soul with an infectious laugh. Rudy was very caring and helped anyone that needed it. We will miss the many memories spent at the family cottage. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Gaetano "Thomas/Tom" Mantione, who passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023, after a brave battle with cancer. He faced his illness with courage and hope, fighting until the very end. He was 56 years old. Tom was born in Hamilton, Ontario to Grazia Mantione (Mule) and Raffele Mantione. A loving and caring father, he leaves behind his daughter Grace. Tom was a dedicated paramedic for over 25 years with the City of Hamilton, touching countless lives in the community. He was a caring friend and corvette enthusiast. It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Palmarino Bianchini on December 2 2023 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Surrounded by his family Palmarino passed away peacefully knowing how much he was loved. Palmarino was born on March 22 1932 in Ascoli Piceno Italy. Predeceased by his mother Donata, father Giovanni, brother Emerico, sister Lina, son Robert, and daughter-in-law Jennifer Siren. Loving husband to Maria Berta (nee D'Andrea) for 67 years. Devoted father to the late Robert (Liz) Johnny (the late Jennifer Siren), and Susanna (Nick Pellegrino). Proud Nonno to Sabrina (Michael), Bianca (Ian), Cassandra (Connor), Alyssia (Matthew), Nicholas (Megan), and Mia-Milan Angelica. Bisnonno to Liliana, Ophelia, and Valentina. Palmarino will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, sisters (Bettina and Giacomina), brothers-in-law and extended family in Canada, Italy and Belgium. The family would like to thank the staff at Orchard Terrace for the exceptional and compassionate care they showed Palmarino while being a resident there. They would also like to thank the staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for making Palmarino comfortable during his last days and supporting the family during this difficult time. It is with sadness that the children of Betty Iles announce the passing of their Mother on December 3, 2023 at Regina Gardens Long Term Care Facility. It seems fitting that Mom passed away in December as she loved Christmas and will be re-united with her loving husband of 62 1/2 years, Ralph. Left to mourn are her children, Brenda Danson, Mona Ward, Nancy Schiavo (Guy), Ralph (Cathie Robertson) and Karen Iles. Also lovingly remembered by grand-children, step grand-children, great-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, her sister Pauline Gawronski and sister-in-law Mona Webb. Fondly remembered by Marc Hall and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her sons-in-laws, Bill Danson, Rick Ward, Ed Thibodeau, Joe Capula, daughter-in-law Deborah Iles and granddaughter Laura Melenbacher; parents Fred and Jessie Morse and step-mother Gertie, her parents-in-law Chester and Ann Iles and by her other siblings and in-laws and their spouses. Betty was a hard worker who helped provide for her family. She loved entertaining family and friends. She was an avid singer and was a founding member of the Lorelei Singers. Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Wednesday December 6, 2023 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will occur on Thursday, December 7 at Sts.
