Christopher will always be remembered for his sense of humor, constant smile, and cheery demeanor. He was always making people laugh and smile with his jokes and nicknames. Chris and his wife Mary Anne would spend their time going out to the casino and to dinner. When at home he would watch action movies and football. He loved the outdoors, taking his wife and children out on the boat at Gull Island when they were younger. He stayed active walking the dogs and taking them to the dog parks. Spending time with his daughter was his main hobby, even just staying home and watching movies together. Christopher is the beloved husband of the late Mary Anne Housey. The loving father of Pam Housey and Chris (Stephanie) Housey. Cherished son of Dolores Lee. Fur dad of the late Charger, his treasured Lhasa Apso, grand-paw of Buddy the Rat Terrier. Survived by his brother in law Mike (Ann Marie) Koch and many extended family and friends. A visitation for Christopher will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. An instate will occur Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at 10:00 AM, at the funeral home. Frank, a bank auditor, was an accomplished drummer having played at Lido on the Lake for 30 years. He always said he was a banker by day and a musician at night. Frank met his wife, Patsy when she worked at Crowley-Milner in downtown Detroit. They've shared almost 70 years together being blessed with 3 children, Gasper J. Addotta, Bessie (Joe) Hayes and Christopher D. Addotta; grandchildren Joe Hayes and Tara (Kevin) Stover and a great granddaughter Brooklyn Stover. He was pre-deceased by a brother Phil. A visitation for Frank will be held Fri, Feb 2, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, the time of the Funeral Mass, at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 22412 Overlake, St Clair Shores, MI 48080. Burial will take place at Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester Hills and will be private.

Thomas Michael Kotas, age 65 of Saint Clair Shores, passed away on January 4th, 2024. Born and raised in Detroit, Tom was an embodiment of true Motor City spirit. From a young age, he had an unwavering passion for cars, which led him on a life long journey in the automotive industry. As a master painter, he possessed a unique talent for restoring classic cars to their former glory, especially big block Chevy’s Thomas was a proud owner of several vintage automobiles and found joy in participating in various car cruises and shows. Tom hailed from a long line of entrepreneurs and at a young age, along with his twin brother Terry, he built “Kotas Bros,” a towing company and auto repair shop. This auto shop became the popular hangout spot for the twins and many of their lifelong friends to hang until all hours of the night. While Tom was dedicated to his profession, it was his role as a devoted family man that defined him. He was blessed with two wonderful daughters, Christine and Tracy, whom he loved and cherished beyond measure. Though life’s journey may have introduced changes, Tom and his ex-wife Cheryl remained close friends which allowed for both of their families to enjoy many gatherings together. Family was everything to Tom, and he was a pillar of support for his loved ones. He never missed an opportunity to attend his grandchildren’s sporting events, cheering them on with his infectious smile, beaming with pride. Tom’s presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and unwavering support will forever remain. Thomas Michael Kotas will be forever remembered as a larger-than-life character, no filter havin’, Chevy lovin’, rock-n-roll singin’, Pall Mall smokin’, hell of a guy! He leaves behind a lasting imprint on the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
