When not working, Bill loved spending time with his wife and family and cheering for his favorite teams: the St. Louis Cardinals, the KC Chiefs, and the Alabama Crimson Tide! Bill will be remembered as a devoted husband and father with a gentle spirit and loving heart. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Cora Mae Johnson; wife, Jennie Johnson; and his sister, Martha Golden. He is survived by his son Ted Wise and his wife Gail; his son Dwight Salts; his son Brent Johnson and his wife Sandy; his daughter Tammie and her husband Kerry; his son Scott and his wife Karie; and many beloved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 12, at 10:00 a. m. at Robberson Prairie Cemetery in Ebenezer, MO. To honor Bill's favorite sports teams and love of sports, friends and loved ones are welcome to wear Cardinals, Chiefs, or Alabama Attire.
