"William Bonning Fitzgerald Jr. was born February 9th 1946 to William Bonning Fitzgerald and Cecelia (Gerry) Fitzgerald of Malden, Massachusetts. He was the proud baby brother to 7 sisters: Gertrude, Cecelia, Wilma, Ruth, Jan, Anne \u0026amp; MaryJoe. William was an amazing man that redefined the words selfless and humble. Aside from helping to develop the world\u0027s first dot Matrix printer and becoming drag Racing's A-fuel champion in 1964, he spent most of his life in Research and Development Machining for Scientific and Aerospace companies. William sacrificed more professionally and personally than any other man for the benefit of his children. He leaves 3 loving children behind: William Bonning Fitzgerald III (Midera Kearney), Cindy White (Kirk) and Amanda Elia (Nick) as well as 8 grandchildren: Aaron, Owen, Abbey, Cecelia, Anastasia, Mason, Alexis,Joseph and 1 Great grand child Thomas White. His Children and Grand children cherished every moment with him. He loved to spend his free time after retirement, teaching the kids how to fish and playing any games that they wanted, especially Uno and rummy. William leaves behind an infinite amount of lessons. His quick wit and sense of humor will be sorely missed, along with his dedication and Love. William passed at home surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter\u0027s Catholic Church in Jupiter, Fl on Friday May 12,2023 at 10 am.
