Daniel Lee "Boone" Witherspoon, age 51 of Big Sandy, TN, died Sunday, November 5, 2023, in Henry, TN.
He worked for several years in the HVAC industry. Boone loved hunting, fishing, and riding his side by side. He enjoyed woodworking, working in his shop, cookouts, and being with his family. He was Baptist by belief.
Boone was born February 17, 1972, in Paris, TN. He is survived by his mother, Mildred Wade Witherspoon of Dresden, TN; and his father, Jimmy Clyde (Brenda) Witherspoon of Humboldt, TN.
He was married October 22, 2022, to Brandi Anne Willoughby Witherspoon, his companion of 18 years, who survives, of Big Sandy, TN.
Along with his wife and parents, he is also survived by four children, David Scott Witherspoon of Big Sandy, TN, Jamie Lee (Angela Cagle) Witherspoon of Camden, TN, Brandon Gage (Tiffani) Dunlap of Paris, TN, and Melissa Ann (Dylan) Adams of Huntingdon, TN; one sister, Rita (Ervin) McCone of Fairview, IL; three brothers, Jimmy (Linda) Witherspoon of Paris, TN, John (Trish) Witherspoon of Springville, TN, and Tim (April) Witherspoon of McKenzie, TN; and seven grandchildren, Kadence Witherspoon, Izabella Adams, Nathan Adams, Jocelyn Witherspoon, Carson Witherspoon, Atleigh Witherspoon, and Caroline Dunlap.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Russell Ragsdale officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will Jeff Frantom, Johnny Lee, David Witherspoon, Dylan Adams, Brandon Dunlap, Bobby French, and Dakota Weatherford.
Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, TN.
