Stella Louise Marcum, age 78, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. She was born September 14, 1945, in Dorena, Missouri, to the late Willie and Dorothy Burney Marks. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing Bingo and dancing. Her greatest joy in life was her grandkids. She loved them dearly. On November 28, 1961, in Charleston, Missouri, she married Danny Marcum, who survives of the home. Other survivors include: two sons, Timmy (Debbie) Marcum and Dan (Christy) Marcum, both of East Prairie; one brother, Kem Marks of Marston, Missouri; one sister, Lisa (Tony) Cogdill of East Prairie; eight grandchildren, Brittney, Ashley, Logan, Braden, Connor, Rachel, Mack, and Luke; and four great grandchildren, Bryleigh, Trenton, Poppy, and Goldie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Bramlett; and one brother, William Marks. Visitation will be Thursday, December 7, from 5 p. m. - 8 p. m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, at 11:00 a. m. in the Shelby Chapel, with Bro. Eric McGruder officiating. Interment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. William Eugene Graham, Sr, age 68, died November 30, 2023, at his home in rural Sikeston. Willie was born December 12, 1954, at Chaffee, MO, to the late Alfred Esco Graham and Dorothy Mae Allgood Graham and had lived in rural Sikeston his entire life. He was a member of the Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston. He was married to Amy Elizabeth Russell Graham, who preceded him in death November 8, 2014. Surviving is his son, William Eugene Graham, Jr. ; stepsons, James Campbell and AlRay Campbell; his grandchildren, David, Israel and Zoey; sisters, Jane Oaks and Hazel Graham Powell. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Graham. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lawanda Vannasdall was born on Sunday, February 1, 1948 in Campbell, Missouri to the late Charlie Edward McGill and Emily Esther Swinney McGill. She departed this life on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Delta South Nursing Care and Rehab in Sikeston, Missouri. Lawanda was a homemaker and a member of Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden. On November 6, 1965 in Campbell, Missouri, she was united in marriage to George Clinton Vannasdall, Jr. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1997. Also, preceding her in death were her parents, and two brothers, Rick McGill and Ray McGill. Her survivors include: son, Clinton Vannasdall and wife Angie of Parma; daughter, Lena Poyner and husband Michael of Sikeston; five grandchildren, Valerie Vannasdall, Alicia Ramsey, Clinton Vannasdall, Jr. , Megan Watkins, Stephanie Peacock, and Ann Poyner; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Dora Thacker of Malden and Belinda Lauer of St. Louis; two brothers, Jerry McGill of Poplar Bluff and Bill McGill of Texas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. James Gary Orr, 70, of Joplin, Mo. Passed away on November 23, 2023. James was born on December 30, 1952, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Edwin and Beatrice (Brasfield) Orr. He grew up in Morehouse, Missouri and graduated high school from Sikeston, Missouri, before working several years with his father at Delta Construction in New Orleans. He also worked for many years at FASCO in Eldon, Mo. and in Jefferson City at the prison, from which he retired from. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Raymond Orr. Survivors include his siblings; Carole Cobb (Jack) of Eldon, Mo. , Barbara Orr of Plano, Tx. , and Peggy Orr Starr of Little Rock, Arkansas; and daughter, Renae Nobles of Minnesota. Mary Madelon DeLisle Dooley went to be with our Lord on November 17, 2023. Mary was born on July 16, 1992 in Sikeston, Missouri, to Rouget and Sally DeLisle. She is survived by her husband, Nick Dooley; both parents; a sister, Rouchen Graham; a brother, Jeremy DeLisle; four beautiful children, Chloe, Emma, Hunter, and nick Jr. ; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 'Papa' Elmer Underwood Sr, Grandmother Mary Underwood, Grandfather J. Byron Delisle, Grandmother, Madelon DeLisle, and one niece, Lauren Graham. Mary was a very loving mother to all kids, especially her own. She spent the last summer on this earth swimming and playing with all her children as much as her health would allow. To her friends and family she will be remembered for her no nonsense attitude as well as that infectious laugh. We will all miss you, Mary, see you in Heaven again someday.
