Wayne King Obituary

Services for Philip Wayne King, 83 of Ada are11:00 a. m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Criswell Funeral Home, Floyd Kaiser and Brian Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p. m. Monday. Mr. King passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at a local hospital. He was born May 8, 1939 in Roff, OK to Alfred H. and Bernis Current King. He graduated from Latta High School in 1957. On July 3, 1959 he married Glenda Gammill. He is survived by his wife, Glenda of the home; one son, Greg King and wife Shari of Plano, TX; one daughter, Kelly King Howry of Ada; one brother, Jim King and wife Luvenia of Caldwell, TX; two sisters, Janet Aday of Elkhorn, Wisc. and Teresa Ervin and husband Ken of Ponder, TX; two grandchildren, Kolby Howry and wife Miranda of Ada and Kolton Howry and wife Jamie of Washington, OK; and three great grandchildren, Isla Howry, Wyatt Howry and Kennedi Howry. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bearers are Bill Young, Raymond Johnson, Mike Aday, Chris Aday, Grant Fowler and Roger Cosby. Honorary bearers are Bill Barrett, Bill Hart and Don Byrd.
