"Wayne \u0027Hurricane\u0027 Jackson, age 83, of Wynne, died Sunday, May 7, 2023, at his home in Wynne. Mr. Jackson was born May 30, 1939, in Moro, and was the son of Charlie Jackson Sr. and Lucille Hamby Jackson. He lived in St. Francis and Cross County all of his life, was a Veteran of the National Guard, was a retired medical transit, and was a Baptist. Mr. Jackson married Beverly Henson in 1976, and she survives him along with six sons; Chuck Jackson of Memphis, Tony Jackson of Forrest City, Adam Jackson, Kacy Jackson, and wife, Heather, Layne Jackson, and wife Alivia, and Logan Jackson, all of Wynne, two daughters; Treety Aguilar, and husband, John, of Forrest City, and Leslie Jackson of Wynne, and eleven grandchildren; Jayde, Austin, Kannen, Heather, Hannah, Alayna, Stormie, Dylan, Savannah, Tanner, and Ella. Services will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P. M. , Wednesday. Visitation will be 1:00 P. M. , until the time of the service. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
