Wayne Tillman Everidge of Red Level passed away October 6, 2023 at his residence The family will have a time of receiving friends from 6 to 8 p m , Tuesday, October 10th at Keahey Funeral Home Cremation will follow Left to cherish his memory, wife Susan Everidge; sons, Malcolm Wayne Everidge (Sabrina) of Oklahoma; David Everidge (Katie Hardin) of Mary Esther, Florida; daughters, Kristina Everidge-McLean (Thomas) of Red Level; Melissa Everidge of Red Level; Terri Peaden (Tommy) of Florala; brothers, Kenneth Everidge (Michelle) of North Carolina; Vernon "Bud" Warren (Amanda) of Virginia; sisters, Karen Vance of Washington; Judith Christ (Steven) of Minnesota; Cindy Wilson (David) of Elberta, Alabama; Samantha Slingluff (Perry) of Navarre, Florida; Elizabeth Utt of Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, Tillman Everidge and Edith Hutto Everidge Wayne was an Air Force Veteran and attended Andalusia Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses He loved to fish, and also loved planes, trains and automobiles and was especially talented at restoring automobiles He was a "cowboy' at heart; and was the happiest when spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren He was a former assistant chief of the Loango Fire Department and worked in construction most of his working life Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements

Donna Lois Carpenter, age 57, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at her residence. She was surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday, September 22, 2023 at Keahey Funeral Home in Clio. Reverend Timmy Hall will officiate. The family will receive friends at Keahey Funeral Home one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Pea River Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers Tim McKinny, Jeff Davis, Terry Adams, Bobby Strickland, Scott Myers, Zack Shipes. Honorary pallbearer Son Matthew Davis. Left to cherish her beautiful memory, her loving mother Irma Warrick Carpenter, son, Matthew Davis of Dothan (fiance Shelley -Ann Simonsen) loving sister, Traci( fiance Scott Meyers) Carpenter of Clio; uncles and aunts Ricky Carpenter, Tim McKenney, Marie(Carl) Price, Joyce Medley and JoAnn(Donnie) Brown. Niece, Karson Gavanditti and nephew Zack Shipes. Also missing her dearly will be her mother's dog "Bo" and especially her rescue dog,a blue pit bull, "Harley". She was preceded in death by her daddy, James Melvin "Jimmy" Carpenter, who she loved dearly; grandparents, Melvin and Martha Frances Carpenter and Ammie "Hambone" and Mable Eugene Warrick. Donna fought a long battle that began with juvenile diabetes at age 9. But even with that lifelong challenge, she always had a smile for everyone. She was a graduate of the Sparks College/ Eufala , LPN Nursing Program. When her son, Matthew was in school she did substitute teaching at G. W. Long School in Skipperville. As a little girl her daddy gave her the nickname "Charlie". Growing up she stayed by her daddy's side as often as she could, that instilled in her a love for automobiles and restoring them. She developed a life skill that enabled her to become the parts manager at the Dothan Airport. Donna loved the color purple; she spoke her mind, and her son Matthew and her dog Harley were the loves of her life. She will be greatly missed. Milton Levert Wilkerson, a resident of Clio, Alabama passed away Friday, August 4, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 90 years old. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 11:00 am at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Adams and Rev. Woody Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Adams Chapel Cemetery in Texasville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Milton was born September 8, 1932 to the late Luther "Luke" Wilkerson and Desser Phillips Wilkerson. He served in the United States Army from 1948-1954. During that time he fought in the Korean Conflict. In 1956, he married the love of his life, Betty Clenney. Together they owned and operated Wilkerson's Service Station for 47 years. They became proud parents of 3 boys, Elton, Chris, and Greg. He served his community as a town councilman and Commissioner of Barbour County. Milton was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Alabama Football. He spent numerous hours at all types of ballgames, supporting his boys, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Doris Wilkerson, Mary Threlkeld, and Jaquita Childers;brothers: Talmadge, Kermit, Wilburn, and Cecil; and brother-in-law: Thomas (Minnie) Clenney. Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife of 66 years, Betty Clenney Wilkerson, sons: Elton (Teresa) Wilkerson, Chris (Rene) Wilkerson, Greg (Cindy) Wilkerson; sisters: LoriceDoster and Miriam (Woody) Brown; sisters-in-law: Shirley Wilkerson, Georgia Ann (Dennis) Baxley, Barbara Littlefield, Eleanor Smith, and Faye Parmer; grandchildren: Jennifer Precise, Ashton Wilkerson, Lucas (Brittany) Wilkerson, Drew (Ashley) Wilkerson, Brittany (Weston) Jones, and Chase Wilkerson; great-grandchildren: Aidan and Tyson Pelham, Paxton and Grae Cravens, Lillie, Emerson, and Beckham Wilkerson, Savvy and Shep Jones, and Sutton Wilkerson. Mrs. Ethel Mae Wilson Davis, age 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 28, 2023, when she passed away from an extended illness at Luverne Health and Rehabilitation. Born on January 12, 1950, to John Franklin and Doris Wilson, Mrs. Ethel stayed in the lower Alabama area her whole life. Mrs. Ethel is survived by her son David Lavon Allen of Louisiana; her brothers, Thomas Wilson of Louisiana, Ricky Earl Wilson of Ino, AL; her sister-in-law Glenda Willis of Elba, AL; her grandchildren Tracy Allen and Harley Allen; her niece Lisa Gail Kelley of Elba, AL; and her great nephew James J. DeBoer of Elba, AL. She is preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Darlene Wilson and her parents, John Franklin and Doris Wilson. Mrs. Ethel was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend to everyone. She cherished life and the Lord Jesus Christ and lived a life that showed His Grace in all that she did. While on Earth, Mrs. Ethel was known as the sweetest, kindest, person that you could ever know. She was a best friend to everyone that she met. She had many hobbies and passions in her life such as being a fisherwoman, a baker, a homemaker, a quilter, just an all-around craftswoman; she was a camper, a family woman, and loved traveling to be with others. A service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Kymberly Keahey is officiating.
