Wayne Busbee Obituary

West Columbia- Graveside service for Paul Wayne Busbee, 79, will be held 12:00 p. m. (Noon) Monday, May 15, 2023 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery with Rev. Paul Bishop officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Lexington 415 Barr Road Lexington, SC 29072. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family. Mr. Busbee went to be with his heavenly Father on Monday, May 8, 2023 after a brief illness. He served in the US Navy for six years and was stationed on the USS Repose Hospital Ship in Vietnam where he received numerous medals and commendations. Surviving include his siblings, Donnie G. Busbee, L. Michael Busbee, and Debbie B. Lee; many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Myrthe L. and Horace L. Busbee; siblings, Junior Busbee, Betty Busbee, Jack Busbee, Dorothy Busbee, Jerry Busbee and Buck Busbee.
