Walter James Williams, Jr. was born in Mount Holly, New Jersey on July 4, 1981, to Walter WIlliams, Sr. and the late Shyaron Duckett Williams. He entered eteral rest at North Mississipp Mecical Center - Iuka on August 31, 2023. Walter "Junior" "Mop" was preceded in death by his mother; grandfather, Albert H. Duckett; and grandmothers, Cigger Lee Duckett and Eula M. Leonard. He leaves to cherish his memor his children, Kya and Kamya Chapel (mother, Sherita), of Florence, AL; Aubrey and Augusta Williams (mother, Robin), of Iuka, MS; Ava Gardner (mother, Cretia); of Corinth, MS; his father, Walter "Jimmy" Williams, Sr. of Iuka, MS; his aunt, Sondra Ranee Duckett of New Jersey; brothers, Demetri Williams of Corinth, MS, Albert Duckett (Annya) of Iuka, MS, Shawn Holiday (Chendelle) of Belden, MS; and Derrick Wilson; his sister, Alanson Holiday; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Benjamin Tyler Coker, 26, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Benjamin dedicated a great amount of his time and energy to furthering his education. He graduated from Northeast Mississippi Community College with an associate's degree and was currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology and minor in sociology at the University of North Alabama. He would have graduated in May of 2024. Ben was a member of Iuka Baptist Church. He was also an Eagle Scout. For his Eagle Scout project, Ben restored the Amy Skinner and Jay Darwin nature trail at the Iuka Elementary School. Ben was a loyal volunteer at the Old Courthouse Museum in Iuka. Ben even returned after he moved away to college to assist with special events and be with his friends at the Old Courthouse Museum. Benjamin also enjoyed working at the Coker farm, riding dirt bikes, and creating new dirt bike trails. Ben loved being around family and friends. He loved being an uncle to his nieces and nephew. Ben had an extraordinary personality and brought positivity with him everywhere he went. His smile and outlook were infectious. He was widely known for being extremely funny, giving great advice, and simply just being a loyal friend and an upstanding person. Ben is survived by his parents, Johnny and Robin Coker; his brothers, Joshua Coker (Brittany) and Daniel Coker (Taylor); his nieces and nephew, Amelia, Elena, Danica Grace, Evan and Elizabeth Coker; his aunts and uncles, Scott Coker, Lee Razutis, Jennifer Thrasher, Anne Marie Brown, Henry Brown, Donald Brown, William Brown, Charlie Brown, and Samuel Strawbridge; and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim Coker (Lou), Bea Coker, and Marilyn Jo Brown (Jimmy Lee); his great-grandparents, T. G. and Bessie Vernon, Alton and Grace Coker, John and Pauline Daniel, and Lola Maude Stanford; his aunt, Karen Grantham; and his uncle, Bobby Coker. Donna Clark, 68, of Iuka, MS, died on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Donna enjoyed watching TikTok, browsing Facebook, and FaceTiming her great-granddaughter, Elliott. Before her health declined, she was involved in helping with the Living Free Ministries and Crosswinds Church. Donna was employed as a registered nurse for over 20 years, and later became a licensed cosmetologist. When she could, Donna enjoyed spending time visiting and going out to eat with the "Sistas". She was very proud to be from and live in Iuka. She is survived by her daughter, Nichole Walden (Nick); her grandchildren, Joseph Flanagan and Brianna Umfress; her great-granddaughter, Elliott Umfress; her siblings, Kathi Clark, Jeanann Willingham, and Jay Clark (Robert); several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her special friends who were more like family, Lisa Reeder, Brenda Whitfield, CJ Rumley, Hildy Nolan, Sandi Kissinger, Heather Potts, Kim Borden, Gail Cutshall, and the "sistas". She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Monroe and Clara Elizabeth Tripp Clark; her husband, Bobby Joe Ledbetter; and her son, Casey Ledbetter. Levi Colt Tigner, 26, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Levi was such a unique and one-of-a-kind person. He had never met a stranger, was a good friend to all, and an even better one to his family. He was the type of person that lit up any room he walked into and was always there for anybody that needed him. While most recently he detailed vehicles, he had also been a volunteer firefighter and a truck driver. In his free time, he enjoyed slow-pitch softball and pool, and he was known amongst his friends as a pool shark. Levi is survived by his fiance, Diamond Williams; his parents, Robert and Phyllis Tigner; his daughter, Serenity Lane Tigner; his sister, Ida Elaine Jones; his niece; Alize Jones; his nephews, Robert Jones and Josaiah Taylor; his aunt, Lavelle Doles; his uncles, Wayne Serrett and Randall Burnette; his great-aunt, Mary Ann Raines; and a host of other family members and friends. Debra Hester Fowler, 66, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. There were many things in her life that Debra enjoyed, but music and motorcycles held her heart. She would take any chance she got to attend concerts or to ride her bike. She was a part of Dream Riders: Biking for Children, a group dedicated to helping children in need. Debra also loved hummingbirds and spending time her with family and friends. Debra is survived by her mother, Rachel Hester; her sons, Brad Moss (Mendie) and Ben Moss; her grandchildren, Cole Moss, Tyler Moss, Haley Keeton (Dacota), and Shelby Hutchings; and her brother, Stan Hester. Joy Baptist Church and dedicated a significant portion of his life to managing the Tishomingo County Landfill. Beyond his professional achievements, Lloyd's legacy lies in the profound impact he had on his family. He cherished his loved ones immensely and considered them to be the apple of his eye. His devotion and love were unwavering, providing them with a strong foundation of support and inspiration throughout their lives. Outside of work and family, Lloyd was an avid NASCAR fan and held a deep passion for the Ole Miss Rebels. Lloyd will be remembered for his friendly nature, welcoming smile, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed. The sudden passing of Lloyd Whitaker has left a void in the lives of those who knew him best.
