Gabriel also known as Gabe was born to Benjamin Rivera and Ramonita Figueroa on August 31, 1974 in New York, New York. Gabe was known to all as a tough, independent man who did things his way and nothing else. Even though his outside persona was unique, his heart was always huge. He enjoyed the outdoors, the beach, and hanging out with friends. He was very crafty and very intelligent. He learned everything he could from work or the streets and put it to his own use. He loved his children very much. Gabe was an interesting individual in his own ways nonetheless he will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his loving mother, Ramona; his children, McKenzie and Noel Rivera; his sister, Monica Rivera; his 2 brothers, Chevy Perez and Ben Rivera; his nieces, Vanessa Clauson, Samantha Rivera, Chelsea Galli-Rivera, Alexis Rivera, Caylee and Rilynn Perez and nephews, Christian Rivera and Cameron Perez; 2 great nephews, Jionni and Raiden Clauson and many aunts and uncles. Walk Along side the sand my brother, for you are in paradise now. I will look for you in the sunset, for you have become a part of the water's tides. And even though your body has left us, we will know you stay by our side. Walk within the light my child, I have held your hand through the storms but you will hold a place within our hearts.
