Vivian Maxine Graff, age 92, of Brookfield, MO, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at McLarney Manor, Brookfield, MO. A private family burial will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery. Memorials to the Brookfield Senior Center may be left at or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P. O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628Vivian Maxine, daughter of Grover Botts and Margaret Elizabeth Merritt, was born on July 31, 1929, St. Joseph, MO. On March 17, 1967, Vivian was united in marriage to Howard Charles Graff in Aspen, Colorado. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2005. Vivian graduated from Benton High School in 1947. She later graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a B. S. E. in Business Education and went on to receive her master's degree. Vivian worked as a secretary at Beaty Wholesale Foods in St. Joseph and at United Telephone in Kansas City, Missouri. Vivian and Howard were co-owners of Graff Mobile Home Sales in Brookfield and Kirksville. Later, Vivian worked as a secretary at the Chillicothe Correction Center before her retirement in 1995. Vivian was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Brookfield, Missouri and was involved in the Church Choir and Hand Bell Choir and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW and Republican Women's Club. Vivian enjoyed traveling, skiing, and shopping. Vivian is survived by her two stepchildren, Fran Graff, and Frank Graff (Patricia) of Brookfield; four grandchildren, Smokey Graff of Kansas City; Cheyenne Graff (Carissa) of Brookfield; Jody Graff (Sarah) of Moberly; and Ryan Graff (Angela) of Brookfield; Also surviving are nine great-grandchildren, Zackary Boyles of Chillicothe, Kodie, Khloie and Kaidence Graff of Marceline; Hudson Graff of Brookfield; and Georgia, Grace, Gabrielle and Jacob Graff of Moberly. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Graff and her parents.
