Virginio Devarraz, 82 of West Warwick, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Warwick, RI. He was the life partner for 49 memorable years to Frances E. (LaBossiere) Dori of West Warwick. Virginio was born in Leyte, Philippines and resided there until he was about 20 years of age. His mother, the late Elpedia (Devarazz) Perkins, had met and married an American soldier in the Philippines and moved to the U. S. with him. Virginio stayed with his grandparents in the Philippines until his mother could sponsor Virginio, which he later became a United States citizen. He moved from Sharon, PA to Rhode Island and met Frances in July of 1973. They have been together ever since. He will be missed, yet forever loved by Frances. They will meet again, someday. Besides his life partner Frances Dori, he is survived by Fran's sons: Adolf Dori Jr. and Gerardo R. Dori; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a sister: Felicia Harris and her husband Leonard. He is also survived by his cousins Romy and Rebecca and extended family.
