Virginia "Birdy" Tapia entered eternal rest at the age of 42 years old on June 16, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 13, 1979 to Jose Armando Tapia and Evangelina Frausto in Los Angeles, California. Virginia is preceded in death by Father Jose Armando Tapia. She is survived by her loving Husband Gerardo Esparza; children, Andrew Esparza, Mathew Esparza, and Erik Esparza; mother, Eva Tapia; brothers, Jaime Armando Tapia and Jerry Tapia; nieces and nephews, Jaime Tapia II, Javier Tapia, Emily Tapia, Ian Tapia; numerous friends and family members. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 3:00p. m. - 8:00p. m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00p. m. at Castle Ridge Mortuary North. Final Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 9:00a. m. - 10:00 a. m. followed by a Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes at 11:00 a. m. Interment to follow at Cordi-Marian Resurrection Cemetery. There are no gallery images.
