Mrs. Kay Ellen Irvin Adams, 64, died Monday morning (February 19, 2024) at her residence.She was born in Albany, GA to the late Henry Odus Adams and Loretta Smith Adams. She worked in quality control for Reeves Construction and was a member of Our Beloved Church. She also served briefly in the United States Army.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Stanley Halford and Terry Oliver Irvin.She is survived by her two sons, Dennis Odus Irvin (Mandy) of Leesburg, GA and Adam Oliver Irvin of Albany, GA; six grandchildren, Gage Hall, Trace Hall, Dallas Hall, Haley Madison Irvin, Zander Irvin, and Dan Abraham Irvin; three great grandchildren, Asher, Averie, and Mason McConnel; a sister, Melanie Adams of Waycross, GA; a brother, Mark Adams of Douglas, GA; her beloved service dog, George Bailey Adams; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.A memorial service will be held at a later date. She married the love of her life Elmo Taylor Israel on December 10, 1963, and together they made many cherished memories until his passing on June 17, 2019. She worked in nursing for many years and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Mitchell County. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and member of The Eastern Star. She loved animals and had many throughout the years that she loved and cared for. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, and deer hunting, but most of all she enjoyed time spent with her beloved family.Survivors include her children, Patricia Ann Owens, and Steve Owens (Sandy) all of Albany; grandchildren, Michael Bryant of Atlanta, and Cyndi Ragsdale of Leesburg; 2 great-grandchildren, Andrew Ragsdale, and Ashley Ragsdale; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Tucker, and Caroline; 2 sisters, Louise Blackaby, and Darlene Tillman; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.Condolences and memories may be shared on the website of Hall and Hall Funeral Home at www.hallandhallfh.com.Hall and Hall Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of the Israel family.

Kenneth Seward Williams, Sr., 87, of Camilla died Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Willson Hospice House in Albany.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 16 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Charles McCardle will officiate.Born October 17, 1936 at Possum Trott in the family home, he was the son of the late Elwood Curry Williams and Eva Rebecca Tanner Williams. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Janice Bond Williams and son, Elwood Chandler Williams. Mr. Williams graduated from South Georgia Trade and Vocational School and was a member of the United States National Guard. He worked for the State of Georgia Highway Department and then found his calling with farming on the family farm for 65 years. Mr. Williams was a servant of God as an active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.Survivors include a son, Kenny Williams, Jr. (Tammie) of Camilla; two daughters, Becky Pinson (John) of Camilla and Vickie Williams of Camilla; a sister, Norma Rebecca Jones (Lex). He was also the luckiest grandfather to five grandchildren, Raina Newman (Stephen), Brooks Pinson (Ashley Carden), Justin Williams (Morgan), Emily Adkinson (Wade), Woody Willingham (Erin); 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. After the death of his first wife, Janice, he was husband to Helen Itson Williams, for 24 years.Visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m., Tuesday, before services, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 7053 GA Hwy 112, Camilla, GA 31730 or Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA 31707.Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
