Gerald Kraemer

Age - 78

November 6, 2023

In Loving Memory of Jerry KraemerJerry Kraemer, born in Denver, Colorado on July 1, 1945, and left this world on November 5, 2023, at the age of 78, after a brief battle with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and a magnetic personality that drew people to him. Jerry's journey began in Denver Colorado, where he spent his formative years with his parents, two brothers, and a sister. After completing high school, Jerry pursued higher education at Regis College, where he discovered a deep passion for playing Bridge. In 1965, Jerry's life took a significant turn when he was drafted during the Vietnam War. He dutifully answered the call of his nation and was stationed in Germany, where he served for two years. Upon returning home from his military service, Jerry embarked on a new chapter of his life when he began working at Gates Rubber Company. It was during this time that he met the love of his life, Mary Jane Graesser. Their love story blossomed, and they were married in March of 1970. Together, they welcomed two daughters into their lives, Christine Dawn and Katherine Anne, forming a loving and close-knit family. In 1979, Jerry and Mary Jane made the adventurous decision to leave the bustling city life behind and relocated to Missouri. There, he partnered with his brother-in-law to establish Micro Graphic Services, a successful banking equipment supplier. On their small farm, they took on the task of raising baby calves, creating lasting memories on the countryside. After parting ways with Micrographic Services, Jerry found a new path at Clariant, where he worked as a chemical operator for 20 years. His dedication and work ethic left an indelible mark on the company, and he eventually retired in 2007. Throughout his life, Jerry's love for his family knew no bounds. He was a proud father to his two daughters, and his joy only multiplied as he became the patriarch of a growing family, including ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Jerry's colorful and magnetic personality made him a central figure in the lives of those he loved. Among his many passions, Jerry's love for sports, particularly the St. Louis Cardinals and Denver Broncos, shone brightly. His enthusiasm for the games, whether they were victorious or faced challenges, was infectious, and he was often found in front of the TV, making sure that his cheers and jeers (mostly jeers) were heard by all. Jerry Kraemer's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As we bid farewell to him, we celebrate the remarkable life of a man who will be remembered for his magnetic personality, boundless love, and the joy he brought into our lives. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Mary Dawn Kraemer and brother Denny. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jane, daughters Christy (Scott) Shoudis and Kathy Emerson, grandchildren; Megan (Shawn) Artz, Samantha (Caio) Alves, Matthew (Courtney) Hamilton, Sean Plaster, Hannah Emerson, Jackson Emerson, Pheobe Shoudis, Cole Shoudis, William Emerson, and Elizabeth Emerson. Diana Jo Rock January 11,1939 - October 13, 2023Diana entered her Savior's presence on October 13, 2023. She was a woman who fiercely loved her Lord, her family, friends and life. Her favorite scripture was John 14:1-3. Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it was not so, I would have told you. I go prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may also be. She was strong-willed which helped her live above her many trials in this life. She enjoyed music, gardening, sewing, cooking, horseback riding, her children's and grandchildren's activities, traveling, church ministries, water skiing, fishing, shopping and eating out. Despite having four young children she decided to fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse, ultimately becoming her immediate family's first college graduate. Apart from hospital nursing, she also worked in a multi-physician family practice clinic and an Ear, Nose, Throat doctor's office. Her real love, however was being a hospice nurse. She was so loved by all of her patients and she loved them. She married her childhood sweetheart, Dan Rock at the age of 16 who lovingly cared for her through the entire 68 years of their marriage. She is survived by Dan and their four children, Sherry Buttram (Darrel), Darral Rock (Celia), Pam Johnson (John) and Robert Rock (Billie), seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, her sister Linda Burnett, and two step-brothers Ron and Steve Flowers. Tuell White Jr

Tuell White Jr

Age - 88

October 12, 2023

Tuell Andrews White, Jr. June 21, 1935 - Oct. 6, 2023Tuell Andrews (T. A. ) White, Jr. was born to Margaret Greathouse White and Tuell Andrews White, Sr. on June 21, 1935, in Memphis, Tenn. His only sibling, a sister, Mary Elizabeth, was born in 1940. They lived in Wheatley, Ark. until T. A. was six years old. When his dad got a new job, they moved to Monticello, Ark. , and this is where T. A. remained from first grade until he graduated high school in 1953. Many summers during this time were spent at his maternal grandmother's house in Greathouse Springs near Fayetteville, Ark. After high school T. A. took two years of pre-engineering courses at Arkansas A&M College (now University of Arkansas - Monticello). After a less than desirable outcome during his two years of academics, he needed a change. T. A. joined the Army and committed to three years in the Army Security Agency (ASA). He completed basic training at Fort Chaffee, Ark. , and afterwards was sent to Fort Devens, Mass. , 30 miles west of Boston. Here, he studied electronics and learned to repair a variety of classified communications equipment. After graduation from electronics school, he was assigned to Vint Hill Farms Station in Virginia, the supply and maintenance center of the ASA. In 1956, after completing his three-year assignment in the Army, T. A. moved back to his family's home, now located in Little Rock, where his dad had been previously promoted to a new job. With more maturity and discipline under his belt, T. A. had a renewed determination to finish his degree. In 1958, he graduated from Little Rock Junior College (now, University of Arkansas - Little Rock) with a degree in mathematics and minors in both physics and biology. While attending Little Rock Junior College, he worked part-time in the camera department of Crank's drugstore. After graduation, T. A. took the civil service exam for federal employment opportunities. Soon after, he received a telegram offering him a job as a cartographer with the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center (ACIC) inSt. Louis. He found a nearby apartment and began his 6-month training in cartographic training school. With his degree in mathematics, he was assigned to the math studies division. It was here that T. A. befriended another student in the class behind his. Her name was Marilyn Ann Wilson from Beaumont, Texas. T. A. and Marilyn each went home for Thanksgiving that year, and afterwards T. A. offered to drive Marilyn back to St. Louis from Little Rock. Marilyn took a bus from Beaumont to Little Rock and then the two of them rode the rest of the trip to St. Louis together in T. A. 's new Volkswagen Beetle. On May 23, 1964, T. A. and Marilyn were married in a private ceremony at the Centenary Methodist Church in downtown St. Louis. After their first two children were born, David, in 1964 and Stephen, in 1967, they bought a house in Arnold, Mo. Here, they completed their family with the birth of their daughter, Amy, in 1971. In 1994, T. A. retired from the ACIC, which had by this time been reorganized and renamed Defense Mapping Agency Aerospace Center (DMAAC). Marilyn continued teaching high school math at Windsor High School for five more years before retiring in 1999. In 2003, they moved to the Springfield area to be closer to their children and two grandchildren. T. A. was extremely devoted to his family. He spent his life doing the things he thoroughly enjoyed, such as spending time with family, participating in church activities, doting on his grandchildren, taking photos, researching family history, gardening, woodworking, traveling, writing/storytelling, and (probably his favorite) going out to eat. He had a tremendous sense of humor and an uncanny ability to recall lyrics to any commercial or ad jingle from the 1940s-50s. He could strike up a conversation with anyone, and usually did. He could also recite poetry from memory and sing just about any song from his era. Holidays were made special with family traditions, and he loved nothing more than having a home where his children, grandchildren, family and friends were able to gather and have fun. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life is scheduled from 3-5 p. m. on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023. Family and friends are encouraged to join the family at the Clever Methodist Church fellowship hall, located at 202 Kennedy Ave. , Clever, Mo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Missouri Kidney Program. This was a program that meant a lot to T. A. and his family. To donate, please visit https://mokp. org/donate/. T. A. is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his sister, Mary Weeks; his children, David (wife, Cindy), Stephen (wife, Jennifer) and Amy (husband, Richard); and his grandchildren, Bailey and Owen.Show more
