She was born on September 9, 1932 in Old Monroe, MO and raised in Moscow Mills, MO. She was the eldest daughter of John Baptist Fanning, Jr. and Anna (nee Diederich) Fanning. Ginny was married to her blind date and fellow traveler, the late Joseph W. David for 60 years. She had a caring soul and continually searched for knowledge. Two of her favorite places were the bookmobile and the swimming pool in Creve Coeur, MO. Many people will remember the wildly entertaining parties she organized. We will miss her fun-loving spirit and celebrate all her many wonderful traits. We hope and pray that she has found peace in her struggle with bipolar disease. WHAT IS LIFE What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the winter time.
