Pablo- Rosalie Ann Littlelight, Rosa, passed away at the age of 62, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones, on November 11, 2023. Rosalie was born March 28, 1961 in Hot Springs, MT to Helen Pierre Benally and David Benally Sr. She spent her youth in Montana and called the Flathead Reservation her home. Rosa was a proud member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. Rosalie had a great work ethic. She worked for Allard's General Store and later was a receptionist at Tribal Health Center in Mission. She enjoyed cooking, and hosting holiday gatherings. It was known throughout the valley that Rosa was a very welcoming person and her home was a safe place to be. She loved dancing in her chair to her '90's jams, and singing along to the oldies but goodies. Rosalie spent her later years watching, and rewatching her favorite westerns, especially "Gunsmoke," preferably the black and white episodes. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and family while telling funny and crazy stories. . . again and again. Rosalie will always be fondly remembered for her infectious big smile and laugh. She made everyone feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents: Helen & David Benally; sister: Marianne "Wally" Allard Gopher, brother: Mike Benally, and nieces: Winter Dawn Hoops, Cass Gopher, and Angela Gopher. She is survived by her children: Tara Littlelight, Dean Littlelight, Jorge Medina, Yolanda Medina, Ana Medina, Davida Medina, Carlee Rossbach; and many others she loved as her own, who knew her as "Mom" and "Mama Rosa.
