Billie Risch, 84, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024. She was born September 30, 1939, in Corbin, Kentucky. Billie worked at Diamond International and went on to work at Armco Steel, where she retired. Billie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years; Norbert Wayne Risch, her parents, Lloyd and Sylvia Terrell, her daughter, Tane’ Lynn Kiser, nephew, Derrick Terrell. Billie leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, Ben and LaDema Terrell, her niece, Vicki Smith, three great-nephews, Haven Smith, and Noah & Gabe Terrell. She was loved very much. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave., 45005, 11:30 AM. The service will follow at 12:30 PM. Mildred Peck Smallwood, age 88, of Franklin, Ohio Went to Her Eternal Home in Heaven on Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties in Middletown, Ohio. She was born on December 7, 1935, in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Carl and Hannah (Taylor) Peck. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thurman “Buck” Smallwood, 2 brothers, Earl and Ralph Peck, 3 sisters, Oneida Stamper, Wanda Smallwood and Edith Helton. She is survived by her children, Karen Walters, of Franklin, Delena (Terry) Walters, of Franklin, Carolyn (Anthony) Ferrell, of Frenchburg, KY and James (Kim) Smallwood, of Middletown. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Glen (Edith) Peck, of Maytown, KY, Dennie (Kay) Peck of Maytown, KY; 12 grandchildren, Missy (Todd) Sendral, Carvel Walters, Robert (Tosha) Walters, Jason Walters, Alisha Hayslett, Tina (Mike) Johns, Trisha Walters, Tiffany (Derrick) Carty, Derek (Jordan) Ferrell, Rachel (Kyle) Girton, Missy (Jason) Bedwell, Zac Sorrell; 19 great grandchildren , 13 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mildred was a spunky little woman who loved to talk and visit with family and friends. She always looked forward to the weekends that her nieces came to visit from Kentucky. She was a homemaker who loved flowers and working in the yard as long as she was able. She definitely had a green thumb. She was a quilter and made quilts for many years for her family and friends, who cherished them forever. Mildred enjoyed having several of her nephews live with her and Buck over the years. She could tell numerous funny stories about these times. Mildred enjoyed going to church at Victory in God Church and reading her Bible until her eye disease made reading difficult. Mildred enjoyed her many trips back home for visits and for family reunions. She greatly appreciated the many times that her cousin, Jimmy Helton brought her back to Kentucky for family reunions. Additional visiting hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the Bethel Baptist Church, in Frenchburg, Kentucky with Brother Keith McGuire officiating. Interment will follow in Egelston Cemetery in Frenchburg, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Larry Peck, Shelby Peck, Ernie Smallwood, Mitchell Smallwood Dwayne Smallwood and Owen Bowman; Honorary Pallbearers, Garrie Stamper, Gene Peck, Lanny Peck and Arnold Peck (In Spirit). She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. You may send flowers or donations may be made in Mildred’s name to The Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. Staci Celeste Willis was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 15, 1990 to Valecia Kelly and Fredrick Willis. Staci attended Woodford Paideia Elementary, where she developed her love for music and art. Staci developed a passion for STEM and was the youngest student on her school’s Odyssey of the Mind team. While in elementary school, Staci began her love for basketball. She also spent summers learning to swim and was invited to tryout for the Cincinnati Marlins. Staci graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 2007, where she played the violin in the orchestra, played basketball and ran track. During her senior year, Staci took an engineering course developed by The Ohio State University, which inspired her to pursue a career in engineering. Staci continued playing basketball at the collegiate level, and was the first walk-on at the University of Dayton. She was a recipient of a multicultural STEM scholarship and blos-somed academically and socially. Staci graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Dayton in 2013, and earned a MBA from Wright State University in 2019. Staci advanced her career as a Process Engineer for Georgia Pacific Paper, a Packaging Optimization Engineer at Miller Coors and worked as a Lead Assessment Engineer at Honeywell Integrated. She continued with Honeywell as a Regional Account Manager, Senior Offering Manager and Project Lead. Staci was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and exercising. Her smile was contagious and she had a passion for helping others. Staci transitioned on February 2, 2024 and was preceded in death by: her grandmother, Bessie Walton; aunt Diane Willis; uncle, Melvin Willis; and her grandfather, Bobby (Big Bob) Kelly. She is survived by: her father, Fredrick Willis; mother, Valecia Kelly; brother, Fredrick Willis, Jr.; grandmother, Beatrice Kelly; aunts, Celestine Perry, Dr. Lucretia Long (Kelly), Deidre Kelly and Dr. Denessa (Minor) Kelly; uncles, Bobby Kelly, Darryl Long, Sr., Michael Willis and Darryl Willis; sister-in-love, Chelsey Willis (Leach); nieces, Destinee Willis, Aniyah Willis and Skylar Willis; and nephews, Fredrick Willis III and Prince Willis.
