Anthony (Tony) James Fojut, 83, of Cedarburg, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25th, with his family at his side. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a passion for life. Born on March 6, 1940, Anthony was a devoted father to his three children, Michele, Michael, and Gregg. He was a pillar of strength and support, always there to offer guidance and encouragement. His love for his family was evident in the countless cherished memories they created together. Anthony grew up in Milwaukee, WI and attended Messner Catholic High School, where he met his wife, Carol Ann (Achatz). Anthony served his country in the Army reserves before he and his wife, Carol, settled in Cedarburg, WI. They were one of the first homes in the neighborhood. Anthony and Carol started their family here and considered Cedarburg home for the rest of his life. Anthony had an analytical mind and enjoyed solving problems. He integrated this into his career in industrial manufacturing. He was a tool design engineer at Falk Corporation and Wacker Neuson. A true enthusiast of the game, Anthony found immense joy on the golf course. Golf was a family event that he enjoyed with his father (Vincent), brother (Thomas) and sons (Michael and Gregg). Whether it was a sunny day with friends, or a quiet afternoon spent practicing his swing, golf was not just a hobby but a source of happiness and camaraderie. His passion for the sport will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of sharing those moments with him. Anthony James Fojut is survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Achatz), his brother Thomas (Chandra), his children Michele, Michael (Shannon) and Gregg (Karen), his grandchildren Kayla (Dustin), Ellie, Max, Luke and his great-granddaughter Raelynn, and a community of friends who will forever cherish the time they spent with him. As they navigate this difficult time, may they find comfort in the memories that bring smiles to their faces and warmth to their hearts. Sandra Ann Bish, (nee Holtslander) from Saukville, WI, peacefully passed away into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, November 18, 2023, at age 68. Born in Milwaukee, WI to Ronald Sr. and Patricia Holtslander on May 25, 1955, Sandra is survived by her former husband Frederick Gatzke, son Gordon Gatzke of Port Washington, father Ronald Holtslander Sr. , also of Port Washington, sister Linda (Eric) Johnson of Princeton, WI, and brother Ronald (Lisa) Holtslander II of Port Washington. She is further survived by four nieces and nephews: Denyelle (John) Kosel, Clinton Templeman, Ronald Holtslander III, and Amanda (Jason) Esselmann. Sandra was also a great-aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She is proceeded in death by her mother Patricia Holtslander, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sandra graduated from Port Washington High School in 1973. She was a member of the Port Washington Mariners Drill Team and was also a Girl Scout. Sandra worked as the store manager for Lauer Hardware in Port Washington and later owned and operated her own cleaning company. Sandra was a very talented baker and made beautiful cakes including tiered wedding cakes down to special ordered decorated sheet cakes. She was also very creative with arts and crafts and attended many art shows throughout the years. She was a volunteer at a Soup Kitchen for the homeless in Milwaukee, WI, for many years and taught the cooks how to prepare venison. As a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church (presently St. John XXIII Parish), she served as EMHC administering the Holy Eucharist to the sick and elderly. She also spent many years as an 8th grade CCD teacher. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30PM on Saturday, December 9th at St. John XXIII - St. Mary's Church (420 Johnson St. ) in Port Washington. Father Patrick Wendt will preside. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday, December 9th from 11AM until Mass begins at 12:30PM. Sandra will be laid to rest beside her mother in St. Leo's Cemetery, Friendship, WI, at a later date. Paul Wester, of Port Washington, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 27, 2023, at the age of 73. Paul was born on May 13, 1950, in Port Washington, son of Henry and Viola (nee Weiland) Wester. He was raised in Belgium and was a 1968 graduate of Cedar Grove High School. On June 16, 1973, he married Mary Widmann at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Wauwatosa. The couple celebrated their 50th anniversary in June. After high school, Paul began his career in shoe sales for Allen Edmonds in Belgium, working his way up to a management position. In 1993, he started his second career as the owner and operator of Milwaukee Door Sales and Service, and later opened Wester Overhead Door in Port Washington. With his expertise and dedication, he provided exceptional service to his customers, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Paul's passion for community service extended beyond his professional life. For many years, he served on the volunteer fire department in Belgium. He will be remembered for his efforts as a longtime member of the Port Washington Parks and Recreation Board, playing a crucial role in the creation of the new Port Washington Public Pool in 1998. In his spare time, Paul pursued his hobbies with great enthusiasm. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and woodworking. Paul loved working on his hobby farm, where he found solace and peace in nature. Paul will forever be remembered as a hardworking, compassionate, and family-oriented individual. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Paul will be greatly missed by his wife, Mary Wester of Port Washington, his three children: Kate (Jason Grubb) Wester of Evergreen, CO, Sarah (Tom) Grisar of Grafton, and Mike Wester of Port Washington. He is further survived by his five loving grandchildren: Ellie, Emily, Abbey, Oliver and Anna, his sister, Mary (the late Russell) Janowiak of Whitefish Bay, three sisters-in-law: Diane Wester, Alberta Wester and Cherie Wester and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Viola Wester, and his brothers Robert, Neil (the late Marsha), Eugene, and Wayne Wester. Daniel "Danny" Kuehl entered into Eternal Life on Monday, November 27, 2023, at home. He was 68 years old. Daniel was born on June 30, 1955, in Watertown, Wisconsin to parents David and JoAnn (nee Kasten) Kuehl. He grew up in Hustisford and graduated from Hustisford High School in 1973. Following high school, Daniel served in the US Marines and was honorably discharged in 1977. Daniel was united in marriage to Denise Anderson on December 1, 1984, at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Hustisford. Together they raised their son, Jordan. Daniel worked for his dad, David Kuehl, who owned Kuehl & Sons Dairy. Daniel later bought the business from his dad, and operated it until he retired in 2015. He enjoyed spending time outside doing yardwork. On Sundays after church, Daniel could always be found wherever the Hustisford Astros were playing. Coco, the family dog, loved being by Daniel's side, especially when he would treat her with a steak bone. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Being a grandpa was one of Daniels greatest joys. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Denise, his son, Jordan (Kristy) Kuehl, and granddaughters Blakely and Emersyn. He is further survived by his mom, JoAnn, sister Susan (Phil) Goodrich, brothers Richard (Sandy) Kuehl, Michael Kuehl, Jerry Kuehl, Dale Kuehl, and various other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Virginia Darlene Doherty passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at age 95. She was born May 29, 1928, in Park Rapdis, Minn. , the daughter of Kenneth and Genevieve (nee Lamphere) Hazelton. Virginia grew up in La Crosse, Wis. , before moving to Minneapolis, Minn. , where she discovered her lifelong love of the food business - initially managing the cafeteria at the Minneapolis Star newspaper before working at Caterers Inc. , a local catering company. The career proved fateful when Ray Doherty, then a writer at the United Press International news bureau in Minneapolis, saw a beautiful lady behind the counter at the Star cafeteria and soon found every excuse possible to visit. Virginia and Ray married on July 31, 1954, in La Crosse. Virginia and Ray moved in 1956 to Milwaukee, where Virginia joined Ace Foods, a Milwaukee food service management company and caterer. Through more than 35 years at Ace and its successor, Canteen Corp. , Virginia helped lead the organization's industrial food service division, which operated cafeterias for employers throughout Wisconsin. Even after retirement, Virginia found every possible excuse to stay connected with food - working for many years at the Wisconsin Bakers Association Original Cream Puffs Pavilion at the Wisconsin State Fair, offering food samples at Milwaukee area grocery stores and leading numerous church and other dinners. Besides working at all things food, Virginia helped Ray as editor of the National Presbyterian Mariner newspaper - a role that took them to meetings and conventions throughout the US; was a tutor in Milwaukee schools; and volunteered for numerous organizations, including Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church, the Milwaukee Performing Arts Center and the Salvation Army. She continued in some of those efforts until after she turned 90. Along the way, Virginia and Ray had two sons - Ray Jr. , and Chuck. Virginia is survived by her sons, Ray (Allison) Doherty, of De Pere; and Chuck (Lori) Doherty, of Grafton; grandchildren, Chad (Sarah), Nick, Will, Ashley and Hannah Doherty; four great-grandchildren. sisters, Martha (Peter) Hetzner, Ruth Anne Hazelton and Paulette (Tom) Goetz, along with other relatives and friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray; parents, Kenneth and Genevieve Hazelton; and a brother, Kenneth "Bud" Hazelton. Dorothy "Dottie" Waite Andrews, went to be with her Savior on Monday, November 13, 2023. She is now with her beloved husband, Kenneth Andrews, who preceded her in death in 2011. She was born in Crandon, Wi on February 5th, 1933, and moved to the Milwaukee area in 1950. Dottie joined St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton, WI in 1995 and was very involved in many areas there. In 1996 she finished her career in accounting and retired from Carlson Tool & Mfg. in Cedarburg. Dottie is survived by her daughter Diane (Knute) Kegley-Reichel of Wind Point, WI; Daughter-in-Law, Margaret (Peggy) Kegley; special children, Earney (Betty Jean) Yocum; nine grandchildren, Rolland G. (Karen) Kegley, Nicole (Ben) Bourdo, Tiffany (Abe) Palmbach, Samantha (Peter) Levihn, Eric Reichel, Casey (Beth) Kegley, Noah (Monica) Kegley, Marcella (Jon) Axtman and Sophia (Tanner) Zentner, 17 great grandchildren, soon to be 18. She was preceded in death by her Husband, her sons, Edwin and Rolland Kegley, her parents, Rolland & Marcella Waite; her sisters, Inez Flashaar and Adelaide Yocum, three brothers, Wallace Waite, Richard Waite, and George Waite, and two brothers-in-law, Walton Yocum and Charles Flashaar. Eldo Conant, of Fredonia, passed away at Woodland View Assisted Living in the evening hours of Thursday, November 9, 2023. He was 79 years old. Eldo was born on April 18, 1944, in Black River Falls, son of Charles Conant Sr. and Ella (nee Johnson) Conant. He grew up in Black River Falls, until moving to the Milwaukee area in the mid 1960's, and then to Fredonia in the 1990's. Eldo worked as a grocery store clerk at Pick 'n Save in Grafton, and at Portal Industries, also in Grafton. He retired from Portal Industries in 2010. He was a member of Divine Savior Parish in Fredonia. Eldo enjoyed doing puzzles, painting, gardening and attending rummage sales in the community. Eldo is survived by his sister Geraldine Zahn of Waterloo and sister-in-law Sandra Conant of Little Kohler. He is further survived by many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Mildred and Shirley and his brother Charles Jr. Funeral services celebrating Eldo's life will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at St. Mary's Foundation Church, W4790 County Highway H, Fredonia. Janet Carol Halliburton passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. She was 86 years old. Janet was born on December 14, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Richard and Esther (nee Heup) Paulsen. She was united in marriage with Leon Halliburton on January 10, 1954, in Georgia. Together they raised three children. Janet was a beautiful, kind soul who was loved by many. She had many names, mother, auntie, grammy, but most of the world knew her as Meme. Meme loved the smallest things here on Earth and found beauty in everything. She enjoyed the lake life, vacations, crocheting, quilting, and card making. She also loved flowers and all of Gods critters. She was a former Girl Scout leader, active in North Preston HCF, was a volunteer with the Washington County Humane Society, and the West Bend Food Pantry. She was also a member of the coffee and card making group, along with being an active member in the Ladies Aid and Guild at St. John's Church, where she made the famous apple kuchen for their fundraisers. She was best known for her cheesecake and her love of chocolates, which she always shared. She loved feeding all of God's animals. Above all, Meme enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Meme is survived by her children Carolyn (Jack) Muryn, Connie (Dan) Nichols, and Jayne Ours, her precious grandchildren Craig, Richard and Robert Barrett, John Nichols, and Zachary, Braydon, and Nolan Hottenstein, and great-grandchildren Madisyn and Easton Nichols, Landon Barrett, Ava, McKenzie, Kendyl Barrett, Eliana, Hannah, and Sophia Barrett, and many other family and friends. Meme was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leon Halliburton, and brother Ricky Paulsen. Funeral Services will be held at 6PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 809 S. 6th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095. Reverend David Nieman will be presiding.
