Veronica K. Fennell, age 101, passed away April 24, 2019, at the Hospice House in Omaha. Veronica was born November 12, 1917, in Custer County, Nebraska to the late Jacob and Mary Ann (Dansky) Woracek. She graduated from high school and received her teaching certificate. Veronica married Joseph Fennell on January 17, 1942, and together raised their 10 children, and were longtime members of St. Patrick's Church. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Eileen and 8 siblings. Survivors include her husband, Joseph; daughters, V. Carolyn White, of Torrington, Wyoming, Anne M. (Yarrow) Fennell, Ph.D, of Brookings, South Dakota, Kathleen Fennell, of Deer Harbor, Orcas Island, Washington; sons, Joseph F. (Kathleen), Ph.D, of Torrance, California, Leonard E. (Mary), of San Jose, California, Michael J. (Kathleen) JD, of Matteson, Illinois, Edward P. (Rosalie), of Council Bluffs, Eugene A.
