Veronica Carter Obituary

"Veronica Ann Carter, born January 24, 1944, in Fayetteville, North Carolina entered into eternal peace in the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She attended Lewis Chapel Elementary School and graduated from Anne Chestnut Senior High School. She continued her education and graduated from Cevilla Beauty College in Raleigh, North Carolina. Above everything, Veronica treasured her relationship with Jesus Christ and later graduated from Moriah Bible College where she dedicated her life to the Ministry. She was preceded in death by her daughter April S. Carter-Armstrong and leaves to forever cherish her memory: Sonya V. Thorns (Ronnie), Maurice B. Carter Jr. (Monique), Marcus Lucas (Lakita); four granddaughters: India S. Jackson (Trevin), Asia V. Armstrong, Morgan A. Carter, and Nicholle Thorns; and 4 grandsons: Xavier J. Thorns, Jalen M. Thorns, Ronnie D Thorns II; and Braque B. Carter; one great grandson: Jaden J. McCall; and one great granddaughter: Akira C. Thorns. She also leaves to forever cherish her memory, her siblings: Mary F. Jones (preceded in death), Alice L. Smith (Charles), Winona L. Gilmore (Josephus), Artis D. Jones (preceded in death), Priscilla M. Perry (Melvin), Cynthia Y. Thomas (Gregory), Maggie M. Harris, Joseph N. James (Annie); spiritual daughter: Minister Cynthia A. Coe; and two godsons: Joshua Coe and Micah Coe; and a host of nieces and nephews. "
