Vernon Y. Quinn passed away April 4, 2019 at his home. He was born December 27, 1929 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Marcus and Edna Stewart Quinn. He served in the United States Airforce, from July 8, 1948 to July 7, 1952. This was during the Korean War. His hobbies were lapidary (cutter and polisher of precious stones), wood working (functional, fun and decorative wood), camping, hunting and fishing. He would commonly be found helping other people and serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years Jane Treibwasser Quinn, his Parents and his Sisters and Brother Mary Kay Akers, Viki Jo Quinn, Barbara (James) Custer and Dennis (Ce) Treibwasser. He is survived by: Sisters: Sherry (Dorian) Larson, Marcia (Dee) Baxter and Ame (Tim) Cochnauer. Children: John (Shirley) Bischoff, Jackie Parr, Bob (Nancy) Quinn, John (Patty) Quinn and Dennis Quinn. Grandchildren: John (Marlo) Bischoff, Shelly (Tony) Siegel, Casey (Zac) Vincent, Robyn (Dale) Davis and Phillip (Deena) Quinn James, Sheri, Robert, David, Chris and Corey. Great Grandchildren: Jahrhad, Devin, Cody, Shyla, Levi, Logan, Jaylyn Eighteen Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Saturday April 27, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 15151 North Meyer Road, Rathdrum, Idaho 83858.
