Macon - Verlie Thompson Stegall, 86, died Thursday, April 25, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Waviely E. and Lilly Verline Reid Thompson; her husband, Guy Marshall Stegall; three brothers, J. B. Thompson, William Thompson and M. E. (Doc) Thompson; three sisters, Suzie Stegall, Mary T. Copley and Ethel T. Westmorland. Mrs. Stegall was a member of Macon Baptist Church. She retired from Fashion Cleaners of Warrenton where she was a seamstress. Verlie is survived by her daughter, Beverly S. Ross (Jimmy); her son, Guy Marshall Stegall (Shirley); four grandchildren, Marsha R. Overby (Jason), Jamie R. Holtzman (Justin), Brian Stegall, Alisia Stegall and eleven great grandchildren.
